I was there! 2nd row in between Stephen and Mark. Opening with Grounded (my favorite) was incredible and I cried during Major Leagues. Never thought I would see them live!
Caught them in Brooklyn- such a great performance- I’ve seen pavement in the 90s and in 2010 - I honestly think they sound peak as far as a live band now - SM and SS sound. great - love the interplay between them - Steve West is pounding the drums - Rob is adding quite a bit to the percussion- the keys are a nice addition - I feel Mark is in the pocket - but small gripe - a little muddy his sound sometimes- but these guys are so great - my favorite band of the 90s - the soundtrack of my 20s- it’s amazing how they are still very relevant and have not recorded anything in decades - I hope there is a spark and we get new Pavement
@@JP-ne6dg i agree. We will see. They may be doing it just for money or something. But the chemistry def seems fantastic. I just hope they do another round or 2, or 10. Lol. One show was not enough!
This was a no bullshit, not a money grab tour. Guys were on point. Energy was outstanding. Like they rolled back time. Catching back end of tour probably helps, but shit that was a show! Sad to say my first after having them weave through my musical Interests for the last 25+ years. Of all people, I heard Trey Anastasio talk about how into them he was back in the day. Thanks for posting.
this tour is the real deal. i skipped but saw them in 2010. these 2022 shows look more polished and the band looks happier. great to see it! thanks for a great recording.
What a night. What a show!!! Spiral Stairs even handed me a guitar pick to strum along properly. Dunlop Nylon .73. No frills and no shills. What a band.
Thank u so much for this recording. I saw the show in Atlanta 5 days later. Great show, but I could actually hear the sound better on this video than when I was at the show. The sound quality is great! If I had one tiny complaint it would b that the sync between sound and picture drifts a bit. It is most noticeable to me on cut your hair then a lil later creeps back to near sync. Just fyi. But on the whole it is a great document. Thank u, thank u!
I gotta give u some “yeps” there. I know he was a founding member of P and SJ but his contribution, particularly big “screams” seems pretty minimal and at times it’s downright distracting.

Same. I’m still in awe. Pinch me… let’s hope for another tour next year.

Saw them in Denver on 9/19. So great to hear them play live after listening to them for so long. I had all the feels that night :)

SM plays the melody for "Running With the Devil" in his solo on Type Slowly.
Was there second row in front of Spiral. You've done us all a great service! Can't wait to re live this tour again and again
That embassy row jam was the best ever.
Thank you
Nice job in filming this performance! They did a get rendition of Summer Babe here.
Thank you for this I was there and now get to enjoy again!!
some high energy on this 1!!
I wished they would play Hit the Plane Down again one day.
Only 25 of the greatest songs ever written. And they've got another 25 just as good.
Anyone know what instrumental song they walked out to?
Wooden Shjips - I Hear The Vibrations
