That is a great idea for the gauges! You could probably 3D print a center section and have LEDs in there. With engine conversions you could also add in things like an amber check engine light LED.
That is sick!!! I do like the idea of an optional core exchange. Send a completed product in exchange for your old one. How would this hook up to the OG harness, or gowesty rewire kit?
So will you be selling the rebuilt cluster with the gauges? Would I need to rewire the connectors or will it be plug and play? Oh yeah, How much? I have an 1987 Weekender automatic with 2.2 Subaru conversion. Would you want the "old" bezel sent to you, like core exchanges? Looks really neat. Good job.
I can sell it as a package. Wiring it up would be your responsibility. I'm working on pricing now. Possibly, that is one option I am exploring. :-) Thank you.
How does the speedo cable fit into the new unit? Also what wiring mods are needed? I have a spare dash unit and would be interested in buying the inserts?
Mounting them like that will create terrible reflections in the windows, especially at night. That's why the Vanagon gages are set back as they are. Better check that out before you go too far with this project. Just saying.
Love it. Will be very interested.

Not sure yet, still looking into it.

Wow that does look clean! Nice work Chris.
Totally self serving...... I wanted it for my van! ;-) LOL
Cool 😎 👌
Nice work! I would love to buy this for my van
That looks amazing, beautiful workmanship!!! Following for updates on how to obtain the adapter.
Definitely interested in a bundle brown dash + gauges assembled.
Email me to chat about it, I can get you 10% off the gauges. ;-)

It's a GPS speedo. I have not gotten to wiring yet...
Love it!
Nicely done. I have the missing center piece. You can have it for free.
@@canterburyfour oh man! Can you email me?

What's the gauge size. 4 or 4 1/2 inch?
4"

I was wondering about that myself. A cluster cover with a lip that extends towards the driver could mitigate that issue.
The reflections are not any worse than my 2021 BMW. It does not bother me at all... 🙂
