Dude, love your inshore videos when you're yanking up cobias, but watching you navigate past other anglers, pylons, tough surf and still cranking up seriously nice keepers, that's talent bro! Tight lines forever, dude!
Cubera on 10# braid. I down sizing this spring when I respool. I'm in CT and mostly bottom fish. I think 3', 20-30# leader on a 4000 spinner should do the trick. Go Joey, Go Joey!
Snook has got to be one of the best tasting fish in the sea, even though I’ve only kept one for the table. Those guys are like unicorns in my fishing haunts 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
Hey I think I saw you with some guys Wednesday at Sebastian catching back to back groupers ! It could have bin someone else but he was recording with a camera and a go pro ! But what’s best rod and reel for pier fishing I wanna link I go like all the time and never get lucky with some good fish to eat i don’t get what Im doing wrong 😫
I love the fishing videos. But its been a while since I’ve seen a new spear fishing video. It’s been like a year since u did that video about spearfishing that bridge near Sebastian. But the water has been dirty recently. Will another spear fishing vid come soon?
Yesterday was the first time I was able to dive this year besides a little bit of diving in the Bahamas. But I will probably put it together and you will see it here soon. We are just getting into dive season so hang in there, there will be plenty of spearfishing footage soon.
Well, because the snook was oversized. The regulations require snook to be 28" - 32" with a daily limit of one fish per person when they are in season. Joey perfectly displayed the accurate way to measure them on the "stick".... mouth closed and tail pinched, this is required by FWC regs. If you catch enough snook it's pretty obvious when you land are larger fish that it is oversized, and it's always best to get them back in the water quickly so they can survive the stress of being caught. The most important part of the "catch," is a successful release.
try removing the fish scales and eating it with its skin. The skin is the best part and you are just throwing it away. it only takes a few minutes to remove the scales.

Great stuff Joey 💪👊
A always great video Joey. 👍🏻
Tuesday i hooked a big cubera in the morning, around sunset 2 were caught 10-15lbs.
What weight of leader should you use for snook fishing like that?
At least 25 to 30 lbs. That's heave structure, I've used 40 to 50 lbs leader on 20 lbs brain main line.
Me thinking about if I got bit by the cubera 😯
Small snappers are bad enough..
Great catch brooo 😎🙏its so cool. In Indonesia we call it about MANTUL BROOO 😎
Is there a cigitera test you can do on fish like that cubera or do you just not worry about it?

Where is that bridge located Joey?
We dont get snook in north Florida because Joey and Rad Reeling catch all that try to escape south Florida.....Dont Bogart the Snook!
Okay I can't find the guard 2 anywhere. Is it not available yet? I found a barrier 2 that I've never seen before.
we're doubled up... he got a bird, i got a snook hahahahha :D
10:15 ...That snook has a human's finger sticking out of it's throat deep in its mouth! 🤣
You live in a great area. I'm doing a 2 day charter in Venice La for my 85th B day. Should come home with beaucoup red and trout fillets.

Exactly the last 3 times i went (all saterday nights” were so bad the wind was blowing 40+mph
Nice video! Is that sebastian?

I went to seb inlet week ago first time everyone was wearing that hat that you wore i mean every 🤬 one lol beautiful spot tho can't wait to go back

here we go holla if you hear me flow
So I'm curious, does this EVER happen?
On 7 mile 😂
Has anyone else having a hard time talking to Joey about some vinyl stickers ☹️☹️☹️ can’t seem to get him to talk to me
Why did he let go the first big fish but kept the last two when they were even smaller than the first one ?
Well, because the snook was oversized. The regulations require snook to be 28" - 32" with a daily limit of one fish per person when they are in season.
