Cloud Spotting (Per-Olov Kindgren)

- This is a very short piece whos only purpose is to create an atmosphere of calmness and "air".
To go “cloud spotting”, all you have to do is find a comfortable spot to watch the clouds. You can cloud spot from anywhere but it would be ideal to choose a place where you will be comfortable, preferably you should lie down when gazing up. I often do this in the summer, lying on my lawn trying to see animals, boobs, faces and other things. I promise I once saw Mickey Mouse! He was waving at me. :-)
The "secret" of playing this well is to let all notes ring as long as possible.

We have had a gray and rainy sky since two days,
I think all the white clouds have migrated to your place for the occasion and
how lucky for us to be able to live this beautiful musical moment in weightlessness.
I like your music, I like your proposals, I never thought I would write one day that I would also like your clouds :)
Unable to enjoy it above my garden, I focused on your video
Long before the music started, at 1:38 on the far right of the screen, I could see a little boy with his face looking down.
The cloud quickly dissipated but that was enough to make me think of the child I was, often a dreamer, with my head in the clouds.
The music then served its purpose… you have powers my friend.

It reminds me of my childhood when I lay in a field and dreaming watching the clouds. None of it was like the other. It' s as well a very calming and light summer piece, I think. Short and sweet. I'll try watching the clouds, as you do, when we get some white, fluffy ones and not one big black one. Roll on the summer. X
One big black one... :-) Sounds scary to me. In DK we have had sunny weather for 2-3 weeks now. Today is a perfect day for cloud spotting! I will do that after mowing the lawn! With a glas of red wine... I see the boobs better then. :-)

This piece is excellent, and I will take your advice, but it's still impossible because it has been raining for a week!
I wouldn't like to lie on the ground because raindrops would hit my eyes.😊I am really looking forward to good weather. I enjoy gazing at the sky because it's not like television. It's never the same. There are no repeats. 😊 Although I would love to see Günter's Mickey Mouse! He will surely arrive in the coming days.😊

Dear Y. Please wait till you can lie in the shadows under a beautiful tree on a slope looking over an open field. Then look up and "cloud-spot" for a while. After 5-10 minutes, you might see me in the clouds waving at you... and smiling.

... watching the clouds while listening to this gentle airy tune ...⛅... clouds can tell us a lot about the transience of all things; what was there in one moment will have gone in the next... it's good to look up in the sky and get uplifted. I too love cloud watching and there even is a society for people who love this activity: it's called the Cloud Appreciation Society ☁

Hi Per-Olov, I'm just getting around to this finally. I've been so busy with a collaboration video I just finished with a vocalist for Cullare la Tempesta! So forgive me for my tardiness. I like this piece because of it's simplicity. As guitarists, sometimes we need to give our left hand a break. It's nice to just enjoy playing and not have to worry about playing a zillion notes right? Isn't it funny, I think every guitarist in the world has written a song about staring at the clouds. I wrote one called The Open Sky, same idea, laying on the ground looking at pictures made by clouds. You've seen boobs in the sky? Yea, I'm moving to Copenhagen.
