Another thing you can do to BOOST sales is to send buyers coupons. Treat some of those repeat customers to a percent off coupon that is just for them! repeat business is crucial. Instead of leaving listings up past 30 days 60 days 90 days all that jazz, you should just end and sell similar, that will get your item pushed back to the front page or close to it. Something that has been listed 90 days plus is BURIED deep in the pages on eBay. Something just listed is near the FRONT. You want buyer's to have eyes on your items. Also "keywords" are crucial if you are not using the best keywords for that item then you are less likely to sell. I used to work for a company that had multiple eBay stores and they would end listings all the time to keep them higher in ranking. You got to play the game.

Here is big TIP, crosslist to another selling platform or start Amazon business. All the stuff you talked about, I'm doing that already and doing MORE. For me I don't wait 30 days until I have a sale, I just have sale all my 6,000 listing at the same time whether the item is new listing or not, I don't start with 10%, I start with 50% sale or more. Don't waste your time building ebay business, ebay is broken and if you are thickheaded, you will get burned. Ebay search function is BROKEN, in other words, your listing are most likely be hidden from the buyer so it doesn't matter if the seller done all the right things b/c if the buyer can't see your item, it is not going to sell. I have been full time ebay seller for 8 years and I regretted not sticking with Amazon b/c I wouldn't be much better place in financially. If you want to crosslist, don't use list perfectly, vendoo, etc.. I learned this recently but auto posher appeared to be best crosslister out there. I have multiple ebay account and I can't use it but if you have one or two, auto posher is way to go
I used to sell on Amazon at one point and time. I just didn’t enjoy it. The whole purpose of me quitting my job and doing this full time was for me to find something that I love to do. There is no wrong way to resell. You just have to find what works best for you.
@@FlippingandPunching about 8 years ago, I started the ebay and Amazon at the same time, at that time, it was nearly impossible to ungated big brand name (Nike, Adidas, Puma, etc) so I had to stick with small tier brand, after couple years of that, it didn't work out so I focus on Ebay. Ever since I was on ebay platform, I always struggle with money b/c it was hard to balance everything out especially when ebay throttle your sales. If you just stick with ebay, you won't have sale growth you want b/c ebay control your growth. And also, be honest with yourself, if you lie about yourself, you will never see any improvement in your life. NOBODY loves their job, NOBODY, I don't love to be reseller, I had to be reseller b/c this is only way I could make decent money to live on
The whole one eye thing just turned me off on the thumbnail I couldn’t watch after I seen that can’t stand seeing that type of symbolism. And by now it’s no secret what the shh over the mouth, or one hand over eye, triangle with hands, etc etc etc just want people to be authentically themselves and this seems not truly authentic in the image. I may be the only one to say this but it’s the only thing I could think of when I seen the thumbnail. And it turned me away just saying.
I have no idea what you are referring to when you are talking about putting one hand over an eye. I literally putting my hand to my forehead in a look of disgust due to my sales being down. Nothing more than that.

You can do sales by price range of items or by length of time on eBay. It’s a great way to get rid of old inventory.
