Hmmm, stock gearing off-road + steep hills = 😬 by the sound of the motor, it could stand to add a few teeth to the rear sprocket to put it in the sweet spot for those climbs. Great video regardless. Looks like good times!
Loved my 2006 300R. Love my '24 gray KLX300 dual sport. Not much has changed on this chassis besides EFI lol! Bullet proof, smooth grunty engine and great handling.
It's amazing how well the bike handles box stock. I have a KDX motor that I'm wanting to put into a 125 chassis but if I can find a basket case KLX, that would be a good option as well.
@@Monkeybutt_ADV Right. Im 215lbs and only adjust the clickers 1 turn harder for trail riding. I have a Jack Up Link to adjust my sag more forward cuz Im happy with the OEM suspension
I think so, trying to learn the trail numbers still. The hill put us up on a jeep road and I think it's 10 or 11. It's funny how the camera makes everything look tamed down.@@ml5955
I have a KLX300R and am always amazed at how she handles steep hills. Love this bike.
It's such a fun bike!
Well done on the second attempt! I’m sure that’s steeper than what it appears on video.
Nice. You ride the hell out of that KLX. 👍

That little KLX did good
@1:01, I will definitely remember this technique. 🤯👍
One of the best ways to turn around. Plus if you drop the bike, you drop it uphill so it's easy to pick up and start the process again.
@@Monkeybutt_ADV love it!
Indeed! Me too, as soon as I saw it, my mind said brilliant, lol. You never know where or when you're going to learn something... Nice climb!
Yeah buddy! Love the giggles
Not realy a Fail. You got it on the second try. Cool clip.
Great recovery from no man’s land!
Great job, that looked like a steep hill!
Proper hill climb
I would not attempt to tackle this monster on my 2021
Alright then haha 🤙
Just put the klx in 1st gear. It will climb that hill like an old goat.
Is that Eastern Kentucky?
NW of Phoenix AZ.
Trial 11? The camera does not do those trails any justice. They are much steeper in real life. Good Job 👍
