An issue compounded by supply chain issues. Something well known by P&W with their geared turbofan. At least RR don't have the same level of backlog and grounded aircraft that P&W do.
This is why Airbus has to start crossing fingers in regardst to the Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 (found on the Airbus A330neo) and the Trent XWB (found on the A350). If either of these engines start developing reliability issues all heck will break loose at Airbus because the A350 and (increasingly) A330neo planes are very popular models.
Gosh darn it ! It seems like BOEING 787 is in BIG TROUBLE with the Roll-Royce Trent 1000. It's seems like should be continued later from 0:35, 1:48, 3:08, 4:38, 6:05 until 9:24 as I see it will be continued later for the next year.
Kept repeating that and where it’s causing a problem. Little detailed information what IS the problem are missing. Supply chain issues are a bit vague reason.
Approaching 83 and recall the same line, just trying to put BMC down, or trying to put Rover down, or trying to put Austin down, or trying to put jaguar down, the Japanese proved that. Plenty of leather and wood from the colonies but ended up been garbage by design.
That's not true - RR does not have a stake in RR aero engines since more than 20 years...And it's right that this was only true for BizJets and never for airline business (Well exceptional the B717)
Sensational for the sake of it. 787 RR has had problems , not new. hope they will get it as good as the ones powering 350s.
GE troll😂😂

This is why many people stopped flying
It´s been another issue with an Air Europa 787, one or two days ago. Loosing oil reported
Very strange
Bro can youtube just take down this channel
You are not fooling anybody Flig Avia trying to put Rolls Royce down.

Hearing issues with B777X is bad enough. But for Boeing its just awful
Not Boeing. FOR ROLLS ROYCE IT IS JUST AWFUL.
It is a sand abrasion problem.
Plenty of titanium in Russia
RR engine div owned by BMW
It is true that RR are in partnership with BMW, but only for the smaller engines found on regional and executive jets.
