    Boeing has shot themselves in the foot too many times, and carriers are fed up with delays and excuses. Mean while Airbus is taking advantage of the situation and are winning over the airlines. Many people are still afraid to fly on anything with the Boeing name on it. I for one refuse to fly on anything Boeing built in the past 10 years.

    Boeing desperately needs to prioritize Safety, customers, and staff over profit; the world needs Boeing more now than ever. Boeing has not been the same since it merged with McDonnell Douglas. The company that was once the pride of America and the industry, is long gone. The name is still around but it is NOT the company that William Boeing created and Bill Allen ran, so sucessfully for many years. When I heard that they were merging with McDonnell Douglas, I got sick to my stomach and had a sense of dread. I say, "good for these airlines" for choosing aircraft that don't have controversial safety issues. Flying used to be fun and exciting but not anymore. I used to be a lifelong Boeing fan but that was when they were a top notch company that cared about safety and using only state of the art, high quality materials and parts. Now if I fly, I choose airlines that operate only Airbus aircraft. Remember the saying, " if it's not a Boeing, then I aint going"? Well nowadays, if it IS a Boeing, then I aint going! My faith and confidence in them, is gone.

      The 777X is going to end up being at least 6 years late because of Boeings own corner cutting. So customers will understandably be getting annoyed with Boeing.

    • @alainmare8081
      @alainmare8081 2 дня назад

      Can’t understand your analysis. Why are you so convinced that 777X would be dominant aircraft on the market ?
      His rivals A350-900 & 1000 are already on the market for years and selling well. On the other hand B777X is still on the verge of certification with some problem to be corrected. Then you can’t compare the two planes real specs because one is not in commercial duty. So, airlines choice is not a nationalistic engagement but a realistic move based on quality, reliabilty and real performances. Not the paper figures !
