Nigeria was an excellent team but I think they commited a terrible mistake against Italy giving the match won when still remained 3 or 4 minutes to the end. Baggio didn't forgive. He was very alone in the front of the area.

Ahh...USA 94. I 15 years old and followed every game. I'm convinced that if Nigeria hadn't lost to Italy, we would have been in the final. If we had made it past Italy it would have been Spain in the quarter finals (a basic squad back in the 90s) and Bulgaria (who we thrashed in group stages) in the semis. I cried when the Eagles lost and couldn't eat for 2 days! lol
