We played this song at my church today.. no matter how many times I have done this, I cry while playing it on my piano..
I still love this song after all these years. I looked it back up because of what happened a couple days ago. I asked the Lord how he could endure the whipping, where he became unrecognizable as a man, and the crucifixion? His response: I thought of you...and how much it would mean to the Father to have you restored to Him! Oh, how could I not weep at that!
