- In this video I take a look at a new item, the Ready Rope. This is an easy to carry solution to keeping 100 feet of 550 cord ready to go, while staying organized.

Awesome just what we're looking for!
LOVE the Bic stash feature!
Definitely suggest signing up to the news letter, cause I've gotten some great stuff through those.
Handy dispenser with the added pouch. Gotta order one.
4th ID vet also... subbed for just that, brother. 👊
That is a Very Cool addon to any Rucksack and I will be getting a couple of them!
pointless additional weight, waste of money.
Nice! Just need a lil piece of rubber or tape on the lighter to quiet the rattle.
pointless additional weight, waste of money. get rid of it and no rattle to worry about in the first place.
Does it work to go through the cord lock and then around to cut it one-handed, yes
Hey, any word on the Venture Surplus patches? I’d love to have one.
We got some on the way!
@@VentureSurplusGlad to hear that, if I may ask, are the similar to the ones Lucas has or should I expect a new style or styles?
How to add new rope without twisting
Is the blade replaceable?
Looks that way. The backside has a plastic cover that pops off.
I got one today and can confirm the blade is 100% replacable. It's a simple straight razor blade you can flip over for a fresh edge and replace if dulled completely. Just pop the cover off with a small flathead screwdriver or something. It clicks back into place.
.
keep the cord, ditch the pointless weight it's wrapped around.
It's literally a few ounces in weight. If that's an issue, than I don't know what to do for you.
@@VentureSurplus ounce = pounds
And what does those ounces give you? You should already have a knife, so no need for the cord cutter. You can just as easily hank your cord.
Speaking as a combat vet and someone who grew up outdoors in the woods, you don't need all this gucchi crap.
the more you know (knowledge/skills), the less you need.
It also takes up physical volume.
Maby you should hit the gym. If you can't handle a few gram😂
@@fragnshrapnels that's a valid solution too. But it's not about strength. it's about wasting money on pointless needless gear. that doesn't serve a purpose. It solves a problem that didn't exist. How many other useless items do you people carry around? That crap adds up. You're like a bunch of women packing the kitchen sink for every outing. In reality you'd lack the skills to truly survive for real for extended periods, as you can't even prioritize the proper equipment, let alone possess the skills that renders such equipment pointless.
You're free to do as you want with your money. If you want to waste it to make some other person rich, be my guest.
You are just mouthing someone else's words.
