Keep up the great work Ben!
My Chevy dealer said these actually officially come out in November. I ordered one with a grey body and a black top! Can't wait to get it! I currently have a '21 Trailblazer RS AWD!!
how do you like it? I hear that it can be flat towed behind a RV?
I love the Trailblazer (and I kinda want one), but once you start optioning these things up, you can end up at nearly $35,000 easy. And at that price, you're within spitting distance of some MUCH better, more powerful vehicles, with better track records for reliability. It becomes very hard to justify that price.
I was looking at a Trailblazer as well, but ended up in a Nissan Rogue. Its a class larger, some nicer interior quality, price with options I wanted was about the same, but the Rogue has rear vents for passengers, way more room, 37mpg was better in spite of being larger, its 205hp/225ftlbs so more passing power, and it can tow 1500lbs which the Trailblazer can't. Trailblazer is good, but a bit overpriced.
@@BoopSnoot I’ve had a few Rogues as rental vehicles. Nice vehicles. I’ve always liked them.
I'm happy with it so far if it stays reliable! I really wanted a hybrid, but all the Toyota, Honda, and Kia/Hyundai compact class hybrids had markups at the time. I hear the market is returning to normal, so perhaps its not as bad now. @@OrdinaryG33K-SF
@@BoopSnootwhat trim level did you get???
Base FWD S trim, and then I went online and ordered everything to make it less rental car looking, lol! I liked the 17" wheels more that match the dark gray metallic paint. The S also has tinted headlights/taillights which for some reason the other trims don't get. @@joetarlos
Great review Ben absolutely love the new trailblazer especially the flat bottom steering wheel
I like the styling of the Trailblazer, but if I needed a small SUV I would probably go with the Corolla Cross hybrid. More power and 42 mpg. Plus Toyota reliability.
I would go for the Escape cause I’m a Ford girl and loyalty is very important, but undoubtedly this Trailblazer looks awesome, way less boring than Mazdas or Hondas… not mentioning Toyotas ugh
Lol, this is so much less capable and more boring than a CX-30 that it isn’t even funny.
@@TheDiameter Oh… you again, what’s the story MazdaBoy? All flights for Tokyo were booked ?
Ah, you know now that you’ve stated you’re a woman it really helps put this all in perspective. You make emotional statements based on feeling instead of logic and facts. That explains your irrational clinging to brands that have steadily declined in quality over the last several decades while ever increasing their prices. The reason why all American automakers have flirted with, or went bankrupt at least once in the last 30 years is due to how badly they perform in a free market economy. Ford moved its manufacturing to Mexico and financially restructured hurting its employees pensions, GM went bankrupt, cancelled 1/2 its brands and moved its manufacturing to China and Mexico, Dodge had to be sold 3 separate times to stay above water… it’s sad really. But keep propping up chronic failures for some blind flag waving patriotism while they fleece you out of your money.
@@TheDiameter Because I’m a woman? Are you serious ? Maybe nobody told you but it’s 2023 and my reactions are not just out of emotions, but more like out of anger. I find it rich people like you even dare to mention issues they are greatly responsible for by acting like selfish ‘you know what’
My reactions are perfectly legit and match my deepest convictions, the American and automobile history are going together. There are two kinds of people in this country today, true patriots who embrace every aspect of our nation, the best as the sometimes less good, together as one and the others, selfish and ego centered, only wondering how all the chances we got can serve them
Just as there are two kinds of parents, those loving all their kids the same, no matter how well they perform at school and those who throw rocks… I have no problem imagining to which of those categories you belong
I may be a woman, but I’m more American than you’ll ever be, have more honor and loyalty that you could possibly fathom… my faith, my patriotism, my commitment, are bigger than you could ever understand and put me in a position where I can look down at you with disdain and pity and greater shame for yourself than you will ever experience
I could hate you, for being unpatriotic and misogynistic… but instead I pity you
@@taniabanes4707And instead of addressing one fact I put before you you responded with pure emotion, no logic, no facts, just feelings. Thanks for making my point.
Love this channel
I just picked up this exact model in red. Got all the packages: sunroof, dual-pane, panaramic; Convenience package; adaptive cruise and soumd package; driver confidence package. Really like this vehicle. I also have the fully loaded 2024 Trax 2RS and love that one as well. The difference, other than appearance, I think, are the Trailblazer is a little smoother ride, larger on the inside, the center console and door arm rests are slighltly softer (but not much), power drivers seat in the RS model, but a negative is that the Trailblazer is louder with road noise than the Trax. Really love both of these, of course I got the AWD version of the Trailblazer.
Still a good vehicle after 5 months? I'm ready to get one too.
@@asciishallreceive3871 Still loving it.
@@Keepinitfun Good to know, thanks!
I just don't understand why they could put a bigger engine in it, a turbocharged 2L/4 cylinder with a 8 speed auto for all trims and front/all wheel drive would be a SIGNIFICANT improvement in both reliability and performance, and fuel efficiency probably wouldn't even drop much if at all..
Thanks for the good review once again. Will the dealership let you review the Blazer EV?
Got the 2023 yellow on this one and i love it especially i got the adaptive cruise control perfect for long ride
Still running well for you?
Can’t wait to get it
Thank you for another GM review Ben. The fact that car has a 155 horsepower from a small engine is saying something. I recall when V8's struggle to have that much horsepower back in the day. The fact the Chevrolets are so feature laden in 2023 says something. Chevrolet is recognizing they have to get back to what they did in the 1960's with high value stylish vehicles. They are getting out of that it has to look cheap to be cheap mode. This vehicle has digital gauges and more. It is interesting how the name Trailblazer used to be on a more powerful more substantial vehicle as well. Chevrolet has :Trax, Trailblazer, Equinox, Tahoe, Suburban, Traverse. I was trying to name them all quickly.
Unfortunately they still have modern GM reliability - which isn’t much.

I hope gets up hills better Sorrento i have Sorrento 2015 four cyc hate gray colors i sick tired seeing gray colors need green red browns inside out trailblazer does it have chain timing or belt like trax i also looking equinox Colorado
I've googled the technical differences of AWD and snow mode, but can anyone explain what the practical differences are? If you would like to use a feature for snow/rain is there a reason why AWD would be better? I live in NY where we may have 2-3 snow stoems a year and the streets are cleared off relatively quickly. Trying to determine my needs. Thanks.
AWD is going to drive all the wheels instead of either Front or Rear two wheels. This improves traction particularly during take off and turning. More useful for snow and ice then it will be for rain, you're less likely to get stuck if all 4 wheels a trying to move you then just 2. The driving modes for example snow/ice modes, usually just set different throttle mapping to smooth out your acceleration and apply less torque which make it less likely to spin the wheels, also they will have a more aggressive traction control setting to try and reduce unwanted wheel spin and send the torque where it is required.
I had a trailblazer LS as a rental. I went to the Chevy website and leather wasn’t an option. ????
Nice Trailblazer
What are the dimensions of ghis thing?
Did this model have the panoramic sunroof
Is that a manual lock?
1.2 or 1.3 Litre (3 cylinder) engine. Why the fuel consumption is similar to 1.6 or 2L engine (4 Cylinder)?
Thank god a normal shifter
Beautiful trailblazer!
Nice review but why buy this when a mazda cx30 exists?
Obviously the top trim CX-30 is head and shoulders above anything else in its class for under $40k, but Ben is doing the right thing by giving the under-market competition air time.
I wouldn't want a turbo 3 cylinder from chevy. I'd much rather have the NA engine from mazda. Or to a lesser extent a honda hrv
@@gristle_lumps8190I wouldn’t want anything from Chevy that wasn’t their 2.7 Turbo personally.
Looks nice but was it just me or was the interior noise really bad?
It’s a Chevy, obviously the interior noise is bad lol
@@TheDiameter that's not true at all. I have a 2021 Silverado 1500 and it's the quietest interior I've ever had personally.
@@slocavky I’m sorry you’ve never experienced a well built vehicle
Actually this is quieter than the 2019 Honda accord sport I had
The turbo charger went on mine with 8500 miles on it. If not under warranty, this would have cost over 1500 bucks.
28,000 on mine no issues, oil changed every 4,000-4500 miles
Kinda better than the dodge hornet r/t but if i had to choose between this and the dodge then i will choose the dodge
If you had a choice would you take the Kona or the Trailblazer?
Tough choice
Kona
@@TheDiameter Seems like the tires are better on the Kona too
@@MrVictoria69I’d say this Chevy is a bottom market option
The warranty is better on the Kona too I believe
Not a bad looking Vehicle ! But a 1.3 liter sounds Tiny to move weight....
Why have a car only has a 3 cylinder motor does it only give you twenty nine miles per gallon so it doesn't get good gas mileage nor does it have power. That sounds like a lose-lose proposition
Umm, the 24 TB is tweaked, not all new
RS - Rather Slow
Good looking car but I cannot justify 32,000 for a gas 3 cyl.
Pass. Ugh
No gray colors
These been having alot of turbo issues
I think the trailblazer backseat is very uncomfortable and not very deep for an adult, it's OK for a kid..
Unfortunately this isn’t a real Trailblazer, it is a good competitor for the ford Escape ST, but it’s far from anything more than a “sporty” CUV with extremely questionable GM QC.
@@Brian_Eugene_LeeI’m assuming you’re saying that because it would greatly reduce the cost?
@@Brian_Eugene_LeeThat is available! And costs less than this one! Can probably get that for about $28-$29k.
Look cool 🛞🛞🛞🛞
The 2023 model front end looks a lot better than the 2024
Dude, you should drink less coffee before producing a review video. Just a suggestion: ask three men weighing over 200 pounds each to get in with you and go up a steep hill at Interstate speed to see if it will hold the speed with that absurdly small engine.
Nice CHINESE car ... congrats !
To me it looks very very cheap and flimsy And the 3 cylinder engine I can't imagine even getting much above 100000 miles Before it's dead
Wheels are super ugly....
Talk faster.
