Ohh, so it is a remake. I remember adding Goodnight Mommy to my watch list years ago and got really confused when a 2022 Goodnight Mommy appeared on Prime.

La película me gustó mucho ... No quiero sonar como los resentidos que abundan en internet pero me gustó la la original, Creo que es el primer Remakes que hace Amazon que no me gusta tanto como la la original. Por ejemplo la escena en la película original cuando los niños usan máscara fue brutal y no la utilizaron acá.

This movie would not work in french because the pronoun "you" as two meanings in english, it can be singular or plural and there's no way to tell that the mom is in fact using singular. But in french, there's "tu" for singular and "vous" for plural

This movie really disappointed me once I finally got to the ending. It was so good up until the end. Not going to spoil anything, but these type of "horror" movies is why I stopped watching Alter short horror films. Just let horror be good old fashioned horror.

Yet another reason to dislike Amazon‘s content. Why would you remake a perfectly awesome Austrian horror movie? I know the answer is money I just get sick and tired of this kind of crap.
Why do people feel the need to remake films? The foreign film is brilliant and creepy as is.
This is a remake. The mom is actually normal and the kid is the deranged one. One of the twins is a figment of the other’s imagination following one’s death. Whoops spoiled the whole movie 🤷♂️
