I have both the OXO V-Slicer Mandoline and this one. While I like the "professional" look of the steel one, and the easy way the blades are changed just by turning dials, the V-Slicer actually works better for soft fruits and veggies like tomatoes. This one works better for fancy cuts on firm veggies. That's why I still have -- and still use -- both.
