You are 100% correct about the leather. My classic greens were just delivered today and when comparing it to the Chicagos, the leather quality is better. If you put the green and the red panels of both shoes side by side and look closely, you can see that the leather on the classic green is slightly thicker than the Chicagos.
Black laces with SB tips from the black gum is the way to go I think. 👌🏼 Begs the question…which leather is better…the white or black gums…or these Classic Greens? Have the white and black gums…on the fence with the Classic Greens.
@@PMSchaft oh that sucks, my chicago pair is very nice. The leather is soft but not the bad kind. They are comfortable and they look great. Now my feet aren't too bad for creasing, It's usually not much of an issue for me. I even have a pair of AF1 that is over a year old and worn quite a bit where the front looks great. Now this is a color of the month pair and they are better quality than regulars are. But with good softer leather, a shoe lasts me way longer than with hard leather. Well in sneakers, in good boots and such the leather is another world next to sneakers. Nike is just very inconsistent unfortunately. If they make batches, the good batch could be here in the Netherlands and Germany can have another batch, giving you worse pairs.

I can confirm that the SB Dunk Chicago creases so easily, mine's still brand new but already creased badly on the toe box lol
