Never expect that you have any allies. Always assume you are alone. The rest of the team is at best indifferent and at worst downright traitorous.
The best ally you can get is your teammate's wrecked tank, which you can use as a cover ;-)
If you want to get marks you have to play selfishly. It especially shows when you're trying to mark lights.

At best you can have some smart players, but they don't represent the majority so you should consider you don't have allies, as you said
As a returning player since 2018, with a new account i can say i been averaging 2.6k wn8 with 54-55% winrate. I play by myself as i do not know anyone who plays this game anymore. I honestly believe the playerbase since 2018 has gotten worse; back then people were bots but at least they managed to not die in the first 2-3minutes of a match now games are alot quicker; games sometimes is over in the first minute by being down 4-5 tanks.
TLDR: Winning is alot harder nowadays, I used to try to trust teammates but after 1000 battles ive readopted selfish plays.
Improved aiming is so much better than stabilizer on this tank because it has good dispersions already, so stab is not needed. Base accuracy is kako though so that is IAU is the better choice.
I tested skill's setup and ofc he's a good player, I'm just a 54% scrub but his two setups didn't work for me. So here is the two that worked better. Again for ME. Each one in their own way:
1) Rammer, Aiming device and Optics. This setup is for bigger and more open maps where you will be "sniping" from a distance more often. No optics = all outspot you + you're slow.
2) Rammer, Vent and Hp device. This setup is for city maps or when you know you'll most likely be in close fighting and facing tier 9 or 10. City map = don't need optics.
*Honorable mentions:* Having turbo on open maps insted of optics can work but you must rely on others to spot and for 2nd choice Aiming device insted of hp device to "snipe" weakspots.
It is absolutely my new favorite tank! I even pulled Arnie out of my T110E4 (my first Tier X, and still one of my favorites) and moved them into it. Even when I don't have a great game, I bounce so much, or hit enough just crazy shots that I'm laughing and can't wait to reload into a new match. Hearing the man himself sure doesn't hurt either lol.

Currently there are a lot more players online! Many of them just don't behave as you would expect, that was my impression last night. I could not get a single "normal" game where things would have happened the way i expected! In the end it was really fun that way!

The pen on this tank is ridiculous given “legacy” prem meds with pen in the 190s.
Please, the third game wasn't your fault or tank consistency, 8.5 sec reload is okay, if you had support from your team it would have been different, can't blame the tank for that.

Noone helped us - our team did not watch the minimap. All enemies came from the heavyline. Our team at the open field did no hardpush. We had minimum 7 tanks in front of us and behind them more. No wonder why we have lost. I'm a midrange-player and you have been the only good player of our team. Rest of our team had wgr of 2-3k and the enemies had 6-7 players with wgr from 7-9k. The problem is the Matchmaker: If he puts you allways into bad teams, you have no chance to win or bringing consistent results and that's it.
This is the best new tank of the new ones in my opinion. It's very well rounded and it's a hulldown beast
It’s kinda op. I 2 marked it being brainless with full heat on heavy tank flank. I dnt mind the tank being slow but the gun handling oh man I miss at least 3-5 shots a game bcuz of the accuracy

Game 3 seems like what happens to me about 1/3 of the time. You would expect that their would be some support that close to the base because their always is right there. Totally, not your fault that teammates do the most random things. You expect them to do the most obvious things and then they don't. Especially with about 8 mates left alive.

I love this tank. This tank has the privilege of being commandeered by my Skill4ltu commander, along with my AMBT. I love the fact that you can play aggressively with this tank, and get away with so much. I definitely think the tank is over-tuned, but dang is it fun.

I imagine that dropping vents for a turbo on a second equip setup would help a lot for bigger maps
That's why you have a gun and map topography. Ever notice you can't have speed, armor and an accurate powerful gun on any tank? Filling a spot for speed is a mistake on the Arnie. Vents, vstabs and rammer is the way to go on this 1st config, 2nd config replace Vstabs with improved aiming.
last match really highlighted the drawbacks of not-so-good mobility on a medium tank. when i saw you reversing at 12kph as the viperas pushed on you i said "oh no, this wont be good." it makes me wonder if a turbo would be good, along with the other choice for the last field mod that would instead boost reverse speed and track repair speed and reduce camo. this tank already doesnt have great camo so i dont really see a point in boosting that. then, combined with the turbo, you could've reversed at 21kph (!), which would also make it stronger on hills as you can pull back/wiggle faster after shooting.
For me the real credit printer has been the Strv S1 this holiday ops
I like how there is almost no gun dispersion on this tank, not having to use a stabiliser it freed up space for a Turbo, then went improved hardening and a rammer, just playing as a heavy, well on the way to the 3rd mark in 50 games.
Was thinking to do the same build on mine and screw improved aiming and vents. Sux it got only 1300 hp though.
@@CurseOfDeath yeah the improved hardening helps your HP, as I'm always using it in close the track repair speed also really helps, the Turbo makes it so much easier to stay where the fighting is and keep up with the team when your winning, the dpm is so trash you really need the rammer though, hoping to get the 3rd mark on it tonight, that last 9 or 10% is always the worst though 🙄

@@alanwatts8239 yeah im a bit like that, I will get to 94% then drop 2% several games in a row, one shotted by arty or blind fired by an fv4005 or something silly, My superconk was at 95 about a dozen times.
This tank is atleast have weak spot, the BZ is not
BZ has 2 cuppolas and they are both roughly the same size as the 1 cuppola on Arnie what are you talking about
BZ has a bigger weakspots
the spot above the gun on the bz is very weak, can be overmatched by guns over 124mm and penned if you get the right angle easily and better with heat

BZ roof can be autopenned by all guns above 123mm, and skoda t56 is one of them lol

Only bought a few lootboxes this year, and when this was the only higher tier premium I got, I was disappointed.
Then I played it.....

I think this tank is great!, I would change my patriot any day any time to this :)
Patriot is kinda outdated. Or at least very rarely seen on the battlefield nowadays.
240 damage at tier 8 is a bit too low nowadays, hence the Patriot being retired across the board
Accuracy is bad +1 I think I'll install improved aiming too, coupola is very visible on flat ground, you can penetrate it near turret ring too.
game #3 was without CC team RNG on. Classic teamplay by the TDs in the back.
I think the TDs in the back were bots or 5 year old children.
I find the Iron Arnie an extremely comfortable tank to play with great armor in tier or below. So much easier to play for most players compared to other new tanks.
honestly this is a common issue with getting enw tanks during holidays, is they tend to do well one second and terrible another, and the main reason ive found for this is usually due to all the players that mistake head from butt are online playing their tanks and buying their boxes, more so than usual, causing teams to be filled with some interestingly terrible playmakers on both sides. but this is the time when i put down normal tanks and play derps, as you will never smile more than taking advantage of all the dumb plays during this season.

I think it is great. Good credit maker and overall solid tank. Like an upgraded superpershing. I tried vstab and IAD. Use IAD as vstab not needed. Stability is good already.
At first I was a little bit disappointed that I got Iron Arnie from boxes than BZ. But after few games with bounced 2k dmg+ I'm changing my mind, and it's my new favorit premium med! Gun handling? Shitty on paper. Surprisingly good in game - it performing more hits on target (with penetration) than some tanks with dispertion better about 0.1. so...
dont ger char and dont get bz from 50 tanks but get arnie and vipera arnie now my fav tank, i so like to play with it :)

Team mates these days mostly do not give a crap about anyone but themselves. That is why I enjoy playing in platoons with my clan mates and playing in Skirmish mode. You have a good laugh and your back is covered or you are covering a clan mates back.
I mean I think that was more a combination of weird enemies and absent teammates lol
The 2020 and 2021 holiday boxes tanks were so much better than this year.
Sometimes, I think Skill is hitting baboons waving their guns and trying to dance for him, but obviously, I trust that Skill is usually correct - I'm an almost average player and he is King Baboon!!

I thought that in game three the two TD's on the hill behind you would help stop the pressure from the bridge. Maybe they were looking somewhere else and didn't even see what was happening. I'm a terrible player with Great Map Awareness. LOL Too bad either way, may have been the difference in the game being a loss.

I tried Suka Pershing from Prime. Was disgusted with how outdated it is. In my case, gun handling was atrocious, the alfa is too low to current meta, and easiness of loosing the crew members and/or modules frustrated me beyond reason. I think they will keep doing that in WG - instead of balancing outdated tanks, they'd rather add more new, up-to-date tanks instead. Not nice.
Anyway, I take this M47 any time over the Suka Pers.
The reason why it feel so inconsistent is the low HP, low DPM and too slow for the current match up. Is such a jack of all trade that is bad at every.
balance...and very smoothly games of this tank, but now I can't find how to deal a ton of damage in this tank

IMHO Iron Arnie is one of the best Tier VIII MTs in the game and should be granted "Epic" status on the index page.

In my opinion, the problem is that the vehicle need more HP. Yes good armour, but you are forced to play it on the frontline cos the gunhandling sucks. For this, there is not enought hit points. As I saw after you got 2 shots good luck to try bounce the 3rd one :D. "Plus on top of that" the speed ... Not even close to be decent. "Combination of the things" :)
Hi Skill, you seems to be ok and hope it is the case. Thanks for your content and to share your experience about this new premium vehicule. BTW this tank is supposed to be a modern vehicule. And it's real name is "M48 Super" and it is a german tank. The armor is too high to be at this tier or even in the game. But Wargaming and their logic decided to put it in the game :3.

Well this is the only tank that i got in 50 boxes and its op... first match going like baboon in front in tier 9 ace... 4.5k dmg 3k blocked and 1.7 assisted... its stupid op that armour

Why does this tier 8 Premium Patton have more pen than the Tier 9 Patton with only 218 pen?

play agen after lot boxes end in january.this gun will miss verything it can.same story with other prem tanks.3 weeks after relase they got old and miss everything no matter what equipment you use.same thing to BZ now its so owerpowered and broken but on paper says that tank have kv2 gun on steroids but you can hit pixels.but for real wg nerfing rng of prem tanks,stats on paper means nothing and wont be touched.

The armor on this thing is ridiculous. Equal tier even gold doest pen most of the time. If youre top tier in this you just drive straight at the enemies, they cant do jack shit.

I buy Christmas boxes every year, but i didint buy anything in Christmas 2022 for 3 reasons:
1. WG didnt fix horrible match making and all other bugs.
2. Christmas event in the game is boring like shit, Arnodal Scharzneger again..... Just copy/paste shit. And also all new tanks from Christmas boxes are just a big peace of POOOOOOP.
3. I don't see any motivation and effort from WG anymore. All I see is insatiable greed.
With average MM you can't consistent with any tank. Just a carousel. Welcome in the real world of tanks...

Todays players are truly special. How often do 2-3 heavy’sgive up the high ground on ice road only to run into 4-5 enemy’s in cover with bushes for camo and die? I just sit up on the hill and wait for the enemy to cross all that open ground overmatch their top armor and farm them. Truly ignorant players giving up the high ground. Oh well thanks for the high calibers anyway
