Zion Williamson returns to 1st Pelicans practice after injury

- Zion Williamson may soon make his NBA regular-season debut.
New Orleans Pelicans head coach Alvin Gentry announced Thursday that Williamson went through a full practice for the first time since having knee surgery.
The No. 1 overall draft pick underwent arthroscopic knee surgery performed the day before the regular season began. He has been increasingly active in warm-ups and practices, running through 5-on-0 drills and putting up shots.
"If it was up to me, I would have been out there two weeks ago," Williamson said Thursday. "It was just good to get back out there."

All through summer league,i was reading RUclips comments about him being overweight and people was saying that he will be injury prone in the foreseeable future.I have be an advocate of the term (Country Strong ),basically defending him and saying that he is just all muscle and i felt the outside public was clueless (but then he proved them right and got hurt). Through out the years When Anthony Davis was in the facility,all I kept hearing from some local fans and a lot of people outside of Louisiana is that the organization don't or did not put enough talent around A D(which is true) (but that didn't tell the whole story) What never get talked about is how the fans/organization(the first three seasons) had to be patient with A.D. developing a NBA body,offensive signature moves, & being hurt most of his career with the Pelicans. The fans can't get those first 3 years back from A.D. which was lost in oblivion. The same thing is going to happen with Zion, if the organization don't do their job and get this team to become a 1 contender plus if Zion shows signs of greatness but he's constantly injury prone 80% of his career (the franchise is still going to be ridiculed). A.D. just like Zion have to take responsibility for taking care of their body,fours years from now if Zion finally figured his body out,his offensive game etc.(people is still going to say he should get out of New Orleans and find a competent franchise /contender. Nobody is going to bring up Zion 2019 rookie campaign when he missed 90% of the games and his teammates had to carry the load. I want Zion to be healthy his whole career and hopefully he help New Orleans Pelicans win Quadruple Championships,until then i want people to tell the whole story instead of fast forwarding all the way to the finale.

YO ZION, when you stretch keep that back straight head up. hold your knees, move your feet around on the floor to get em aligned and flat gripping on the ground you know.. annd take your time with it! going wide with it down the middle too, just get a feel for the floor with your feet, take long walks if you have to.. ive done this b4 like twice moving from slippery brick floors to non a couple times.. "having to gain my swag back.." you know your knees might be bent a lil .. peace brotha!

This dude should weigh no more than 220, with his skill set the weight will literally end his career. And playing at 220-240 his athletic ability would be bar none, like nothing the NBA has never seen. Westbrook mixed with LeBron athleticism.
