Love a toned arm Queen ❤ . The nozzle bottle is a great idea for expensive products.

This video is VERY helpful. I had been just taking out my twists as soon as they started itching….complete waste of money! So, I think I’m going to try this option. Thanks! ❤

Soak the hair in apple cider vinegar mixed with water for 30-40 mins to remove the alkaline coating that causes irritation. Then gently wash and condition it with diluted shampoo & conditioner and air dry it. Just make sure you use cool water since most hair is hot water set. You can also buy pre rinsed kanekalon hair that’s supposedly already soaked to remove the chemicals

Thank you so much do this. I was unsure if I could shampoo condition and deep condition my hair in twists!
Now I know I can do it AND i have tips on how fo do it well. Thanks soooo much!! I can definitely wash my hair weekly or fortnightly now. Before I didn’t because I didn’t like unplaiting my twists every week for a wash day!

Alittle caution w/ that braid spray. I remember using in the 90s &it is highly fragrant ¬ for sensitive scalp..

Nizoral shampoo for my itchy scalp, and recently I've just been using the Cantu deep conditioner and leave in conditioner since it's cheap lol. I also love argan oil :)

Have you considered rinsing out the deep conditioner in a "mermaid bath"? It's really helped me save water and lift any herbs/flower pulp off my hair.

I've never heard of that 🤔 I'll have to look it up :)

@@SharmaineJoyel It's basically soaking the length of your hair in the tub or sink and massaging the product out. It helps mostly with thicker Ayurvedic hair masks. I'm forever rinsing rose and Hibiscus pulp out of my hair. Lol

Do these hurt to install at all? Do they pull at all? I’ve had braids and said never again because of pain…any different from braids?

  • @amazedbylove

You should learn how to install them yourself. I learned from RUclips and it only takes me 4 hours to do them myself. 😊 I've never tried washing my hair them in and redo them every two weeks but I'll have to try your method to see if I can wash and keep them from frizzing. Thank you.
