That guy was drunk, so he was a bit annoying and one needs alot of patience. I think he was genuinely being nice and friendly but its always good to be careful. I had to laugh when Tyrone said he was from Fiji...I was waiting for the guy to break out speaking to Tyrone in Fijian and Tyrone would be like "Huh"?!! 😁😁😁

Don't know where you're on your trip if you've already home or not, but if you're still there, watch out they're everywhere trying to rip people off. On another note, I'm seeing Island growing up right in front of my eyes it's so amazing 😍😍😍 I love how he's adapted to the environment so well. Sometimes, he may get a little miserable, but it's understandable to tell you the truth. I'd be going stir crazy so I give him a 💯 for this 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 .Anyway, be safe and enjoy ❤🎉
It looks like getting around Fiji is not easy. There are no mini buses and it's not easy to walk into town. It seems it's not a solo traveler friendly country.
Mini buses are available, but you can only catch it in the cities down transit. Fiji has grown to have pick pockets and scams etc ONLY in the last 16 years, but with the new government in power, accountability and better security has drastically improved things, so hopefully in 4 years, if the current government wins the next election, we be back to that usual safe heaven for tourists and locals.
What you guys got to remember,when you are travelling to poor country's filming,and letting everyone know it's for RUclips,people automatically think you have got money...and they expect you to pay just by you filming the air you breed..Best advice don't poor country's filming because you are going to get serious hassle for money...Most RUclipsrs,actually put aside extra money to give out to poor people whiles filming...So if you can't afford to give put away the camera or do not let anyone know you are filming for your RUclips channel.
You guys should really consider using the same taxi guy. Schedule an appointment with him if you don't want to rent a car. It's safer and more efficient and also provide for the taxi driver knowing he has a secure job schedule. Unfortunately this is what happens when people are struggling it happens all around the world😕 Happened to me in Milan with a uber driver but I had it reversed🙄. Jamaica not as bad but I normally rent or have a driver but I make sure I ask what the cost should be and as soon as they realized I'm Jamaica they know what's up 😂
