Garden 2023 : RePotting the Picked Pepper Plants

I was watching an ‪@epicgardening‬ video and they quickly mentioned that on another video (that I didn't catch) they repotted their pepper plants to keep them for another season. Since I enjoyed the peppers I picked this season, I want to see if this will work for my pepper plants. I don't know if it is too late to do this or not, but the plants are still green and not completely dead.
