33:13 that empty flat land between the port and the MA-28 interchange looks like a great place for a low income suburb. you could even have all the crime you wanted if the government willfully neglects the place (cut off from the rest of downtown, no noise protection, etc.)
Okay hear me out, Easthaven had some German settlers come in the early 19th century. Due to the influx of immigrants from Germany they were given their own small island or district close to Fort John where they built their original blocks in the architectural style of the Fatherland. They decided to stay in the “John” theme and call it “Johann Square” which personally I think sounds beautiful.
I would go one step further and call it Johannplatz. Which was then changed by the American population to John's Place, which it is now unofficially called

That wiggly bridge sure as hell triggered me, but I knew you wouldn't keep it this way with your perfectionism. The solution is simply incredible. You're second to none in the aspect of creating road infrastructure, as the channel's name correctly implies. Would get rid of the roundabout/cul-de-sac at the quay, since it seems to be hanging above the water. :-)
The mismanagement of the hospital became a major scandal. The builders, by cutting corners and pocketing the money, had ignored the need for garbage disposal for the entire hospital building. Garbage piled up in recovery rooms and in the corridors, while some janitors did what they could by throwing some of it out the windows. But the everyday operation had become a major health risk for both staff and patients. Something had to be done.
One thing that you could change is that you could change the roundabouts to not have any trees in the centre. This would help trucks with a large turning radius to just go over the centre in case they are unable to make the turn.
I live in Boston (the South End specifically) and there are TONS of old cemeteries bundled in urban areas - there's one in the middle of downtown with a bunch of historical figures buried in it. Would love to see if you can fit a couple in to give it some history.
I really like your videos, I usually watch them when I eat or want to relax. Your builds and layout is very realistic as well as nice, I often take ideas for builds from you, I hope you won't stop making such videos, good job so keep it up

realistically long trains are gonna need a pretty long run-off of track...but long trains are what I'm here for so, crossed fingers, hoping to see more and more

While there's a lot of "defense" around Boston, it's mostly engineering / R&D rather than, say, Raytheon's patriot missile factory. That said, Electric Boat in Groton CT might be a good piece of inspiration.
In cases of Mass Casualty scenarios (MasCas) you could have all districts send medical services and share hospitals temporarily (this is called a 'Mutual Aid' system we use here in the US for ES assets when one local jurisdiction is unable to deal with demand, other departments, districts, and even counties will respond). I'd recommend that as fun roleplay, having the entire county respond to poor city planners' oversight of water contamination leading to overload of local medical services (blame the port company, of course)

I know its not realistic 0:45 but the skyline doesn't have a taper point and there are buildings behind the waterfront that are higher up, might of been cool to see the buildings behind the waterfront slowly taper town in height or vice versa
History is always a nice touch, I would love to see addition of some of the more gothic German assets to create a really old and important look to some building in downtown
trucks usually struggle with roundabouts. a few here and there isn’t so unrealistic but i think you might be better off traffic wise if you replace a few with some timed stoplights
Great video! Love the interchange into the new port/industrial area. I suggest decentralizing the school and placing your clinic across from the Fort John medical center. The med center is a county hub, and the clinic is acting as a local hospital. Moving the clinic closer to downtown should help coverage in the densest district. Another small clinic near the fort itself would ne a good idea in the future. I also suggest assigning the scrape metal recycling plant to the port of Chowder Bay as well and building a small landfill on Cape Autumn for the entire county. A multi-tiered waste collection network should help with the growing garbage issue.

I already noted your feedback on the awkwardly large elementary school across the hospital in the previous Easthaven episode, and fully agree it needs a change. The medical clinic taking a spot there is a great idea, to get a proper medical hub which is so common in major US cities! Garbage certainly also needs more work. Maybe even the incineration plant somewhere?
I think you should consider changing out the hospital asset for one of the region packs, to solve that little health crisis. The UK one would be my personal preference
Ic wish someone would make a ton of boat props big and small and a few tiny sailboats morings rope rolls life savers tires for walls maybe some fishing boats as well it would set off any dock or marina, love your atition to detailing I'm the same way can't wait to see what you do with the new areas details
A big ocean harbor needs something big (i know there is not a lot room) like refinery or/and big warehouses. The city look great but a bit wonky because of the islands shapes
Port Fort John desperately needs some transit. With the amount of jobs that'll be created, an efficient way of getting there is a must to avoid traffic hell

I think the downtown is a little too big for how small the city is. it wouldn't have to shrink much just a couple of the bigger buildings could be replaced. also one of my favorite buildings in Boston is the converse building. It is an old brick mill that has been modernized and it looks really unique.
Not sure if by design, but there is no way to leave the cargo area and go left towards the other industry, in your super intersection. Nice tase in Music Btw

Hahaha, I think I should be able to answer this one! So, technically, your moms suggestion is closest geographically, as I am from northern Denmark. This part of Denmark has a pretty distinct accent that probably bleeds into my English pronunciations, and since its a small region in a small country, I imagine it would be pretty hard to guess. Also, pretty cool your mom watches my content as well!
Hi Robert! Could have done that as well, but my idea was that the rail tracks precede the current road layout (or most of it, anyway). So newer road infrastructure has had to go underneath or above the rail, and not the other way around :D

I don't think the custom train station you made using all those plopable buildings is working properly, it seems all the pathways of the buildings being placed on top of one another is conflicting with one another
Indsutrial roads are supposed to be wider than usual roads man, not narrower. They are supposed to accomodate trucks easier, yours does the opposite of that

It seems that Little Sicily is not covered by the fire station in Port John / not selected to operate there (see at 34:05).
