For those who don't know. Dossier is not sending samples out with the huge bottles any longer. They're cutting down on plastic according to the email I've received from them. But the good news is that you can test the huge bottle and if it's not to your liking you can send it back for a full refund with no questions asked.

Just got Ambery Saffron today at Walmart (of all places) & I have to say- it’s absolutely fabulous! Many of the dupes of BR50 miss the slight airy sweetness, but Dossier is *spot on*

I own both of these perfumes and legit love the Dossier version more! It’s a tad sweeter to me and last wayyyyyy longer than Baccarat.

Just bought it from Walmart and omg it smells soooooo good! I heard of Dossier from an influencer and the fact that I can find it locally, was meant to beeeee!! 🤍
My bottle of Ambery Saffron just arrived in the mail, and it smells amazing! I'm actually not very familiar with the Baccarat Rouge fragrance, so regardless of it being a good dupe, this a beautifully unique scent I can add into the mix and break out for special occasions.

How long would you say the ambery saffron lasts?

@@BizzieBrittany I have smelt lost cherry in the store but I don’t own it. based on memory it smells exactly the same.
@@sarah-sk8otLongevity is okay. L I would say you get a couple of hours of wear in the skin but double the time on clothing. Not as long as the original perfume but I usually spray on skin and clothing.

I got my Ambery saffron last night and I said it reminded me of Ariana Cloud. But Cloud is more powdery to me. Ambery saffron smells like a rich ambery plum. I’m so in love with it. Thank you for sharing♥️

Omg I love Ariana Cloud! I can’t decide if I should buy Ambery Saffron or Woody Chesnut. Woody Chesnut isn’t even a fragrance I know about BUT I actually love how people in the reviews are describing it so I wanted to try 😂 I’m also getting Fruity Brown Sugar because I LOVE my YSL Mon Paris but only have a sample & will not pay for a full bottle so that one is for sure! …and I can’t get more than two. So I’m trying to decide! 😂

I'm on a super tight budget so I look for them in thrift shops (I don't mind if they're used, usually means it's discounted anyway lol), I can find really nice ones in fun bottles.

@@BizzieBrittany it's (most of the time) literally alcohol xD my favourite finds are a *oil* based (a cool detail because alcohol is banned for the most part) based Arabic perfume, in a beautiful jewelled genie lamp for 10$ aus, or bout 8$ American!
And the other is a 5$=3$ old glass Avon bottle in the shape of a hippopotamus! :D

If you want a dupe of “Rouge 540 Extrait” (the better of the 2), Al Haramain “Amber Oud Rouge” has been the go to for a couple years now. Most even like it better than the far more expensive 540. If you want the best dupe / clone, Amber Oud Rouge is the one for you.
Yes!! It’s actually a dupe of the Extrait de parfume of BR540,& it is SPOT ON!! I own both the reg & extrait -they r each amazing on their own, but the Amber Oud Rouge is GORGEOUS!

Another amazing dupe is "Heavens Door" by Be layered, It's a dupe of BR 540 extrait and I own it and I cannot tell them apart! It's stunning

@@BizzieBrittany lol!!!! i’ve been wanting this perfume ever since i worked at Sephora in 2015 and a customer walked in and was wearing it, i literally chased her down and took a pic of it. when i search and found out the price 😳 same as you, i could not justify spending $300 on a perfume, especially not on what i was making working at sephora 😝

I had purchased ambery saffron last year and forgot. Tried a 5ml sample that cost almost as much as the full dossier bottle of baccarat. They are both very similar and last long. They are a bit on the stronger side for my allergies, but really nice.

Say: "Rue-shh" roUGe. the other word (rogue) means means someone who goes against ordsrs. Rouge is a redish pink color i think its in makeup.
People used to call the makeup product that we call blush, rouge back in the day. I wanted to make a similar comment but couldn't figure out how to spell it out phoneticaly in a way that makes sense.
Rouge is just French for "red." Blush, as the general product, is "fard" in French.
Rogue and Rouge are 2 completely different words with different spellings.

I just ordered amberry saffron and it comes this week. I actually just picked up the burberry her intense and it’s very similar to the baccarat too. I actually like it better.

I only ever spray them on my clothes now days, so I enjoyed cloud and it lasted on my clothes until I washed them. Cloud is a bit more on the sweet side I think. This dossier is beautiful. I smell more of a crisp refreshing scent & definitely loving the oakmoss note.

GIRL!! Cloud game me HIVES! I do think that all 3 smell very similar, BR540 just smells like the expensive version, Dossier is the lighter/everyday version, and Cloud is the more playful youthful version. So if you know like the base notes of Cloud, then these aren't for you lol

Cloud is a bit too sweet & dries down more soft & powdery. This dossier one is more crisp & cologne-ish to me lol, but in all the most amazing ways! I believe cloud says it has some notes of “lavender & vanilla” which this one does not have.

Are you sure you're not experiencing olfactory fatigue? High doses of Iso E Super and Ambroxan can make it seem like there's no detectable scent due to how strong they really are.
