    compared to what our protected people get back here in the uk this is another level. both equally effective, but the US method is impressive. love how they doubled up the principal car too just as they do for their own President and VP.

    • @codekeeper5828
      @codekeeper5828 Год назад +6

      As far as I know, foreign dignitary motorcade/security are handled primarily by two US federal agencies. The USSS - which protects foreign Heads of States/Govts and the DSS - which protects any foreign dignitary that needs protection below the Heads of States/Govts level. Escorted by the DC metropolitan police (occasionally by the US Capitol police, Park police etc.)

    • @inventorchris2
      @inventorchris2 Год назад +2

      @@codekeeper5828 That's what confuses me sometimes the park police, Capital police, Or secret service uniform division is involved With marked vehicles. Other times it's just DC police with the marked vehicles

    • @codekeeper5828
      @codekeeper5828 Год назад

      @@inventorchris2 Extremely rare to see park police or Capitol police escort motorcades out of their jurisdiction unless it's National Special Security Event (NSSE) like the Inauguration, SOTU or international summits.
      It's always the DC police that provides the escorts, if it's a SS motorcade then there would be SS UD marked cars involved in the motorcade as well. And the motorcade size can vary depending on the profile of the protectee.

    • @frank-ko6de
      @frank-ko6de Год назад

      The seems to be secret service protocol, instead dss protocol,due to this being a head of government. Hence the uniformed secret service vehicles in the motorcade, at the front and and the back. They're then being escorted by dc metropolitan motor cycle unit while being surrounded by secret service surburbans.👍👍👍👍
