I don't think they have a "rebellion" concept; rather, "real life", IMO. Belle did rebel - she didn't want the ballerina life that her mother drew for her, preferring K-pop instead, and ran away from home after a conflict. But I don't see the others as rebellious. Natty seems like she is homeless, surviving on busking while trying to make it as a dancer. Julie went to a party but got drunk or roofied, not sure which, but some friends save her and get her out, then they proceeded to enjoy the evening (even if it is "scandalous" by K-pop standards, there is nothing rebellious about having a swim or sharing a kiss). And Haneul is an influencer, sharing her life and her dance online; I doubt it is without the consent of her parents, as she has her streaming rig right in her bedroom. There is also nothing rebellious in getting falsely accused of shoplifting because you look like you're homeless, or in getting hit by a car, or being stalked and cornered in a bathroom. All I see is, life is shit, but with some friends it gets better.
Technically the only 100% korean member is Haneul. You are right that Belle composes. She helped compose Le Sserafim's Unforgiven. Belle was born in Washington and Julie was born in Hawaii. Belle's father (Shim Sin) is a singer that was famous in Korea. Julie is the oldest (like 24? 25?) then Natty, Belle, and Haneul is the youngest at the age of 18.
So glad you got a chance to check them out finally Jo! :)
