10:37 exactly….everytime there’s a car accident, it’s always Julie. Like …girl hit Natty and she crashes again in Bad news. Somebody seize her driving license 😭😭😭
"Sssh", the shushing sound, in Korean is 쉿 (shwit), and yes, it sounds suspiciously like a certain English word, and yes, they are basically having it as a stand in. Just like Jennie wasn't actually saying "I'm shining solo" like the lyrics said, but "Bitch, I'm solo", for impact (but close enough for plausible deniability). A lot of Korean lyrics have these translingual puns that they sneak past the censors. Julie's character in Shhh is, I assume, the only one with a licence and a car. Natty is homeless, Belle is oversheltered (and a runaway at the time), and Haneul is a baby. So there's no-one else to drive. (Though, the question then becomes would anyone be brave enough to ride with her :D ) Yep, you had the MVs in correct order. Bad News came out first, and people were wondering why they were being such... bad news. Then Nobody Knows came out, and showed that nobody knew the whole story. One of the best debuts last year. All four are amazing. And their creative director is also very cool. Her name is Lee Haein, she's been on both Produce 101 and Idol School but failed to debut there (likely due to the rigging scandal those shows engaged in). When Kiss of Life was forming, she didn't fit the concept but was asked to supervise the group, if I remember correctly, but chose to supervise them instead. As an idol herself, she understands well how idoling works. She sometimes publishes interesting behind stories about KIOF on her channel (Hi Hae-in).
Haein was hired as creative director & it wasnt because she didnt fit concept she actually created it for them & around them shes just explained before that shes not jealous of being an idol because their concept isnt what she would do
You did do them in the correct order 👍 Their solo's and the pre-release track Bye My Neverland all lead up to their debut Sssh. Literally and in the mv's. It's so smart. Then Bad News was a pre-release for their next comeback, Nobody Knows. In Bad News, you see their actions in a negative light. It doesn't give you the full story. So they are depicted as being "Bad News", and by showing only some parts, the news itself is also bad. Then, in Nobody Knows, we see the full story. Why they did all those things: Natty and Julie were getting harassed, Haneul stood up against a bully (instead of being one in Bad News), and Belle poured the coke because the audience member was quite disrespectful (being loud on her phone). They show the things that you otherwise wouldn't know (Nobody Knows). In short, amazing music, amazing videos, and both are very fresh / something I haven't seen or heard (in kpop) before, and that's a BIG achievement all by itself. Together with New Jeans and XG (sadly no more Fifty Fifty) are the new "it" groups to watch for me 🤗
Great. 14:07 in fact are both of them, Belle and Haneul, but Belle's voice take over. Their B-Sides are very good also, you can find "Says It" and "Gentleman" lives
24:10 here... I have this theory that natty's story is still unclear unlike the other girls because tape has the evidence of Murder scene, and they might have used this as the next concept for next comeback
actually they performed a live rock version of “bye my neverland” on it’s band live. it’s really good if you want to check it out. also their other performances like the ones on award shows are really good. they have a lot of stage presence and sing well, too.
You did the right order. Nobody Knows is a prequel to Bad News. It explain their behavior

12:45 yup, when I first saw this I was like “this is my first time I watched a MV that has a performance video in MV like wow"
it's just WOW.... all these MVs and songs were a VIBE I love it!

that would be fantastic transition to the next concept!!
15:44 Does Julie's rap here remind anyone else of NCT 127's 2 Baddies? I love her flow!
