yea i agree with you my first game was ryza 2 and fell in love with the atelier series because of ryza and her crew going on an adventure and the non turn based combat system and i hated sophe 2 because it abandoned all 3 reasons why i fell in love with atelier in the first place so it’s very nice to know that i’m not the only one who likes the ryza installments and was let down by sophe 2 because cough cough the game bombed hard because it didn’t satisfy the newer fans of atelier

I can't express how much I fell in love with Ryza and the Atelier games. Sad to see this is her last game but very excited for a 3rd game with her nonetheless!!
I will just keep the 2nd and this ( after i get it )on my gaming pc so I return to them whenever I miss them Although Rayza 3 is an open world game I think that we will still get to do alot of things even after finishing its main story

As a long time Gust fan (since Atelier Iris Eternal Mana) i'm happy that this series is still going strong and that the Secret series has sold 1.3 million until now.With Ryza 3 i'm sure they will surpass the 2 million mark for the whole Secret series.
i agree with you to a certain extent as a ton of people including myself fell in love with the ryza secret series as did a lot of other newer atelier fans unfortunately it caused a divide in the fanbase as most of us newer fans boycotted the return to form known as sophie 2 because it’s not like the ryza style myself included causing sophe 2 to fail and now that us newer atelier fans have another game in the series i think that ryza 3 will overshadow the older style even more now for us newer fans myself included
I stumbled upon this series when i was bored and wanted to try something different. Im glad i tripped on this game when it was on sale. Ryza 2 was a blast! Im ready for this game! Soo much upgrade in every department!!

I’m sad serri isn’t returning back for the Third game I really liked her but at least Lila is coming back. But at 1:51 it looks like we are getting a new Oren party member cause she does have the characteristics Oren have being the white skin, hair, and the Two different colored eyes.
You can see two Orens in the trailer. And you can even see their world (the one with the huts in the trees) :) It's all green, so they're doing better.
We don't know the specifics yet but maybe the key Claudia used gave you a boost in CP per hit, which is why it barely went down after spamming so many different attacks.
Just watch the RUclips playthrough for one of them and buy the other to play. The first one is easier to get all the "helping a friend" recipes, and introduces the series so I say buy that and just watch the playthrough of the second.
@@ironysteeth But why should you do that? Isn't it just more fun to have two games to play through? Personally I am glad I played both (and the older Atelier games of course). That way you have the whole experience. Watching one full game as LP and doing nothing yourself looks boring to me. Yes I watch LP's of course, but only when I can play the game myself and am ahead of the LP, or when I have played the full game already and am curious how another player reacts (I really hate non-commentary LP's and consider them completely lifeless and uninteresting).
Gotta love Lent(o) saying this is a serious adventure after a good time when only a year has past since 2, lol. BTW, hope Bos is playable this time around. Also, it is funny how the Riza games always talk about byes and ends (the first one had a tag line about how we will miss something), hope Ryza 3 is not the final Ryza game. So we're reaching the end of the Secret Saga. It has been quite the adventure with Ryza and the gang! I'll cherish the last installment as much as I do with the other Atelier games. I can't believe I've started with Atelier Iris back in the days, and I'm still in love with this franchise and how much it reinvents itself. To see how far the series has reached and how it evolved brings tears to my eyes. Looks like the world of the Orens is doing better AND it seems we will be able to play as Bos too! February 2023, here we come!
yea i honestly like the ryza installments the most i can’t even play the turn based games as they just don’t feel like atelier anymore to me because i grew up with the ryza style of combat and grew to love it so i’m very excited about them actually evolving the battle system that i love because cough sophe 2 Sucks as it didn’t evolve the play style i loved

Atelier Ryza 1 was my first ever Switch game I got for the console hybrid. I’m planning on buying this 3rd installment to close out the trilogy and complete my collection.
I can't wait for Ryza 3 💓 but i will not is the End of her journey 😭 i love Atelier games so of journey by sophie, lydie and Suelle and the any more. But my long time in Ryza 1&2 (many times replay and over 500 H to a game or more) i won't stop that journey by Ryza.
Hmm, the combat is looking even more frantic and less tactical than 2 (eventually just made more sense to do away with trying to block anything, because you can't see anything) Hoping I'm wrong on that. Maybe pull back the camera even a little bit so we can see the rest of the battle? Looking forward to finishing off the story!

didnt know shit about this series until 4 days ago. so far, it is quite fun, the walking animation feels a bit stiff, floaty.. but everything else is very fun. hopefully they fix that part of it, and expand onto the combat and crafting experience. I can see why people get sucked into it. keeps you busy, why watching ryza argue or be very confused at the same time. also, get room and board if you make bombs for the headmaster?! hahahaha. what a plot. see you guys in ryza 3 next year.
