- We ride from Ensenada to Parque Nacional San Pedro Mártir, which is right next to the highest mountain in Baja. We moto camp at 8200ft in elevation and enjoy the ride to and from this amazing park.
I'm riding my Suzuki DR650 and Tomek is riding a Yamaha Super Tenere1200.

That place was just incredible!!! Wow!!
It really was!
Love the night time shot of the stars wanted to see more
Well, that was a feature of Tomeks camera, and I borrowed the footage. I may be able to make one of mine do something similar, I'll need to research.
Those are amazing views...thank you!
Ya, really spot. They say if you hike up the Top where the observatory is, on a clear day, you can see to the bay of California one way, and the Pacific the other way.
Awesome views
Thanks Shuana. It is a really pretty area.
Very cool to see those trees higher up like that!
Ya, it's so strange how suddenly you're in a completely different environment.
I love the time laps of the stars. Great video!
Ya, it's a neat feature. Unfortunately, that wasn't my camera, that was the guy I was riding with. So I can't repeat doing that.
Great video amigo ! Gracias 🙏🏻
I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I loved the camping spot !
It was so strange to think that spot is in Baja. It was a really cool camping spot.
Such an amazing ride up to the observatory!
It was a real gem of a road. It went on and on and just kept climbing.
0:39 starting off absolutely beautiful!!
It was a beautiful ride, that is for sure.
Thanks for spelling that out for us!
Lol, I had to, because I clearly couldn't say it. Hahaha
Definitely did not expect that kind of terrain on the Baja
I know you really didn't expect the night time temps.
That’s so cool, loved the views!
Glad you enjoyed it. It was a really unique spot. I'm glad I went.
Stunning shots man. Good riding.
Thanks man, it was a neat place to get to.
Right when you talked to me, I thought it was beautiful!! And holy smokes!!!! What a ride up there!!!! 6,700, already higher than I’ve ever been!!!
The campground was at 8200ft! We really got up there.
@@DeweyRides I guess!!!
Awesome. Love the recaps so far and the drone footage was very cool!
Ya. The drone footage is always so cool. Glad you are liking them.
@@DeweyRides Very much! And here I'm trying to psyche myself up for a ride down the Oregon coast 🤣
The Oregon coast is a great ride. You will love it. I talked my parents into doing the sunshine coast up to powel river, they are doing it this summer.
@@DeweyRides Fantastic! Yeah that's a nice trip up the sunshine Coast 😎
Excellent! Really enjoyed this. Thanks for taking us along for the ride. Hope your trip is going well 👍
My trip is amazing so far. I have so much to share, but so much that hasn't been filmed, that I wish I had footage of.
@@DeweyRides you could just try livestreaming the whole trip 🤣
I can't keep the batteries charged to record stuff. I think live not last very long.
4:01 I just recently camped at a mile high, that looks so incredible up there!!!
It was a neat change from the deserts that you think of as Baja.
😎👍👍
Thanks!
Great weather for it mate 👍
Incredible views up there for sure 🤘
That night to morning sky was breathtaking 🤘
Glad to see the bike behaving and that you’re having a blast mate, stay safe 🤘
I'm having the time of my life man. There is nothing like traveling by bike.
Awesome trip so far mate. Stay upright 🙂 Regards from Melbourne Australia!
Thanks mate. I am doing well. Though if you follow me on any other socials, you'll see there had been a pretty big issue. If you don't, video about it all will come out at some point here.
Amazing views, that National Park looks awesome! I had never heard about it! Nice camping spot, it's free?
It wasn't free, but it wasn't much about $3 US.
Dude, that ridge was AWESOME! And the night shot? Chef's kiss!
Also, a video where Dewey DOESN'T drop his bike? You must've run out of batteries ;)
Lol. Ouch. Dude, one day where I hurt my back and got the drops. Lol. You try riding those roads and see how you do! ;-)
@@DeweyRides No thanks. I'll make it about 100ft [50ft will be me tumbling] and my ride is done :D I've hurt my back just THINKING about all your drops!
I live in Central Oregon, about 3400 feet. My DR has climbed to Paulina Peak 8000ft with out any problems. Only real change I see is at sea level when I rode to Monterey CA, I accidentally popped a wheelie in front a cop when taking off from a stop light. Then my buddies DRZ did the same thing. Surprised us both. Of course that is with a Flat Slide carburetor upgrade I did, from ProCycle.
It ran fine. It just didn't want to idle until it warmed up a bit. But it was in the 30s that morning as well. Being jetting for sea level I think it was just to rich unless I had the throttle cracked just a bit.
@@DeweyRides Makes sense. My DR takes a bit of a warm up at that temp as well. Loved the view and the comparison to our National Parks. I leave on Monday for my 3 week trip 10 State and National Parks, as long as I can pick up my tires from The Moto Shop today and get wheel's back on my bike. I never realized how important wheels are to my bike, until I don't have them. 🤣
If you post a trip report somewhere, let me know so I can see how your trip goes!!
@@DeweyRides copy will do
when if first saw the coyote i though it was a wolf till you said it. I was going to be so jealous if you did. Loves wolves.
I have never seen a wild wolf, even in all my travel in the western US. I have heard them, a couple nights camping. Evening hearing the howls is pretty amazing.
@@DeweyRides oh come on now... You didn't have to rub it in...lol
Beautiful !!
What was the temperature like up there ? High and low
Highs were low 70s and it got down into the upper 30s at night. So very cool compared to the low elevations.
Have you seen many coyotes?
Just those couple we saw up there.
