Bloodborne is one of my favorite games of all time. AND youre playing skyrim. Youve quickly become one of my most watched youtubers. Good luck in bloodborne, and my the good blood guide your way, Hunter.
@KingdomAce You're more than welcome, Sir. You deserve the support. And a word of advice for Bloodborne, I noticed with your gameplay that you dodge backwards a lot. Bloodborne is a very aggressive game, I recommend dodging to the side, and even towards enemies at times. Some enemies attack further, then you can dodge backwards, and you'll get hit.
Ah okay, I definitely started figuring out the dodging forward thing during the Cleric fight. But I'll do my best to make the habit of dodging tot he sides now instead. Thanks for the tips and the kind words too 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Yea you were right. There’s no block but you can parry with your gun but for the most part you just gotta time your dodges just right That Cleric run was crazy! Thought you were gonna nail him on the first try. I like that you stay aware and actually learn the game compared to other first timers that I’ve seen
@@KingdomAce Glad to see you start Bloodborne! Bigger enemies/bosses often cant be parried with your gun. Instead you can break their limbs by dealing enough damage in a short amount of time to said limb. You can also force a state where you can get a visceral attack(parry reposte state) by hitting them in the head consistently. You cant do it back to back tho. It has to recover a limb or head injury before you can stagger it again by attacking that same body part. So for cleric beast you can shoot it in the head a few times and you'll get a visceral and then you focus a limb until it breaks, move onto the next limb, etc. There's also a recovery animation that looks like a faint red burst around it which also leaves it open to attack. Some large enemies straight up cannot be parried but have other weaknesses. Good luck!
Well done my dude. Great stuff getting that on your second try! 💪 Few little tips for Bloodborne. It is one of them games where you have to search very carefully as some things are very well hidden. Any place that has a lamp attached to the wall beside it including windows and doors has somebody that you can talk to behind it, so always be on the lookout for lamps beside windows or doors. You missed a few such as a window right beside your first lamp to the right & also the window to your right at 51:15, which is actually a side quest. Exhaust all dialogue too as they usually take two or three go arounds before repeating. Look at item descriptions by pressing Square twice on all items in the menu including weapons and clothing. You can gain very important information and lore by doing this. Dodge through enemy attacks & behind them rather than dodging away, & stick close to their ass. Most importantly, start using your gun parry. You do this by shooting the gun at an enemy when they are mid attack. This staggers them and allows you to land a visceral attack which takes away huge amounts of health. Just subscribed there man, you did really well! Looking forward to part two. 👏
Keep playing bloodborne. This was my first video of yours. I liked this a lot. Also, idk if you know this. But when you get hit, there is a short window where when you hit an enemy, you will regain some of that health lost. Look at your health bar when you get hit. You'll see a bar left behind.
video just started.. and let me say... u played skyrim and bloodborne back to back. i have never been more upset for missing the streams! just discovered your channel i have a lot of videos to watch!
Just came across your channel today. This video was in my recommendations. My dude, you are chill for a SoulsBorne player. Respect. I see you only have one other video for Bloodborne. I hope you get back to it someday. You're pretty good at it so far.
Best part was when you were throwing pebbles at the cleric beast for 2 damage... But well done beating it in 2 tries! The rest of the game will be a breeze now. 😀 Edit: A tip, you can do special transform attacks for extra damage if you attack with R1 and then L1. The axe is good for getting back health after taking damage. Just attack enemies back within a few seconds and you can heal back most of it so you don't have to waste blood vials. Also if you have some extra blood echoes left after leveling up, buy blood vials with them.
Good tips right here. You can chain that transform attacks too, L1 , L1 , L1.. There are also attacks you can do in conjunction with movement, like a leap forward attacks (hit forward on joystick and press R1 or R2 at the same time), backstep attack (O button without direction, then R1, L1 or R2) , sidestep attack etc.. Then of course all of those moves are different if your weapon is in tricked or 2 hands mode. When it clicks with a weapon and you know what to expect of its moveset and the game's timing, you can create pretty OP combos and use them to move around the enemy. Some weapons movesets offer really good mobility. Also when you run out of stamina you can use the gun to gain a precious second to regen or step back..
@@officedurapquebecois Yes forgot about that, been a while since I played! I really like the trick weapons and the combat of Bloodborne, prefer it over Dark Souls and Elden Ring. 😀
Fromsoft's earlier games tended to include darker skintones in as an afterthought. I remember an age slider in one game that changed the warmth of the face, but it was clearly made with pale skin in mind, because it made dark skin look orange.
Bro it’s a tragedy that this game still hasn’t gotten a PC or next gen update. Sony is putting their whole catalogue on PC and Bloodborne is the only one left out in the cold despite the fans begging for it. I love this game but it’s performance on the PS4 is easily the biggest criticism I have.
I think he got that first feeling of accomplishment after taking down Cleric Beast. It’s a good feeling. Keep it going. Lots more bosses to take down over a lot of games!
Hell yea! Keep going dude! Btw, the gun is how you parry in this game. Shoot them at the right time during their attack animation to stun them, then you can perform a visceral attack. SUBBED!!
Ah, the classic souls experience, and my very first experience with dark souls. Play it once years ago with no memory of it, and then try again years later. We've all done it I'm pretty sure.
This video is a very hard try not to say "oh my sweet summer child" challengeXD Jokes aside tho, u're dealing with everything calmly & putting the time to explore everything & paying attention, which makes watching this playthrough really enjoyable; keep it up:)
I love this game, my 2nd favourite game of all time (after spore for nostalgia reasons), 100% on base game+DLC,10/10 it's a masterpiece, but it really needs a 60 fps mode lmao
I platinumed it by just spamming dodge an R1. If you want a hard Soulsborne you gotta go for Sekiro. But even that becomes kinda chill after a while. Unless you give away the charm and ring the demon bell. Then it's brutal. Especially in the gauntlet. I would totally recommend Sekiro after you platinum Bloodborne. That one will definitely turn you into a different kind of gamer. Unless you give up.
Of all soulslike games, I was never a fan of Sekiro. Not because of its difficulty, I love challenging games but because of the plot and the whole samurai/shinobi aesthetic that doesn't interests me. I prefer more the victorian and fantasy aesthetic in Bloodborne and dark souls more.

Bloodborne is the BEST game in the Souls/Borne series
After 1 session I can already understand why! I'm sure there's so many more crazy moments to come!

No, Elden Ring is the best. BloodBorne is so good damn good and I love it but don't try say it's the best.
