also the joke is that voice actor Tomokazu Sugita wished he played a Gundam pilot but instead he first played a SRW OG character Brooklyn Luckfield who is sometimes seen piloting the Huckebein Mk-II which resembles a Gundam by design.
The fact that Bandai released the MkII before the original Huckebein makes me worry that they'll release that one as P-Bandai and make it basically impossible to get outside of those countries that have it. That, and/or they'll make the Huckebein 30 and 30th as P-Bandai as well since they're basically the same thing as the MkII with extra details and parts

G-Impact Cannon (Gインパクト・キャノン) Short for Gravity Impact Cannon (not Gundam Impact Cannon). A large external cannon deployed to the pilot at their request which acts as a substitute for the Huckebein's Black Hole Cannon. It fires a gravitational barrier generated by the Gravicon System, which crushes the enemy to smithereens upon impact. When firing, the Cannon is connected to the Mk-II's crotch section, which is where the Gravicon System is located. And Huckebein is pronounced like Huck-Q-Bine... I mean I couldn't feel at ease hearing you pronounce it as hyuck-bine 😅 Also SRW prefers these original mechs to be known as personal troopers but Huckebein resembles quite close to a GUNDAM indeed, yet it is not one but exists in a game with Gundams, super robots like Mazinger, Arms Slaves like Arbalest and so on.
I'll probably paint mine to have a more Gundam like color scheme. Painting the blue parts white and and the white parts red. Also the V fin connector red.

I never realized where the cannon connects when I played SRW OG and SRW OG 2. And just look at the tip of that cannon. Someone was having so much fun designing this.
Gotta hold back, though. The goal right now for me is DyGenGuar, along with G-Witch Gundams.
But you know what IS a Gundam????

Cool looking gundam
I've been waiting for this as I just finished mine and absolutely loved the build/finish!
that's just a fancy version of Neo Armstrong Cyclone Jet Armstrong Cannon
More like Neo Armstrong Cyclone Jet Armstrong Cannon Ver.Ka, because Hajime Katoki designed the damn thing.
I really like this kit, I just can't stomach the price for what is essentially a high grade.
Can't wait for the HG Gespenst Mk-II Type-S and HG Dygenguar
Either type R or S would be awesome (as a Gillian Yeager fan that I am)
@@ookamibr1918The already released Gespenst kit can double as either since they look identical
@@miragebangbravern the Gespenst released does include the Neutron beam rifle, but does not include the Blaster cannon/Mega buster cannon on the chest as far as I've seen, Mk-II RV slightly changes some design details in the armor but would be great too
This is an awesome hg. I am waiting that bandai will release a hg compatible Kaiser 😮🔥
It may not be Gundam by name, but that's a Gundam. And of course there's Hajime Katoki involved
Looks more Gundam than Aerial...
"This is no Gundam my friend, no Gundam!"
Also isn't the Huckebein series a mass or limited production unit?
It was, until most (if not all) were destroyed in OG 2nd, and then there's the custom ones (Exbein series)
Ingame, there is an MP ver of Huckebein MkII that's beige colored and has simplified backpack
There is a mass production version of the Mk II but it's tan instead of blue-black.
The Mass Production Huckebein Mk II is pretty much the GM in Super Robot Wars Original generations however it was the replacement of the Mass Production Gespenst Mk II which happens to be too badass enough to be retired.
wow that launcher thing combined with the colors in general give me Sisquiede vibes.
Man I missed this kind of intros reminds me of the ol' days
The G for the G Impact cannon stands for Gravity
Damn this looks like the Weltall from the Xenogears game. I wish Bandai would create all the gears there in the future. And in Master Grade form.
I think Square Enix made some small kits a while ago.
@@zetsugami00 Yeah I knew that. But those kits look ok not great.
Keep the SRW OG kits coming Bandai! Dygenguar next in august!
Edit: And thanks a lot for reviewing these non Gundam kits!
As always, nice review non-gunpla kit
also the joke is that voice actor Tomokazu Sugita wished he played a Gundam pilot but instead he first played a SRW OG character Brooklyn Luckfield who is sometimes seen piloting the Huckebein Mk-II which resembles a Gundam by design.
Edge : "What about me?"
I've just build this model kit. I thought I was doing a Gunpla 😅. Now I'm looking for a nice set to build, maybe a MG
Take a shot every time Mecha changes the pronounciation of Huckebein
I can't wait for mine to come in. I also can't wait for the variants
Have you gotten your hands on the Full Mechanics 1/100 Aerial yet?
Do raftclanz next! Great kit
I hope the Valhawk gets a kit too someday
I'm sure most people know it's not a gundam
I love all the HGs of the SRW OG series so far, cant wait till they make one for Weissritter🥹🥹🥹
It's the Sugita Gundam
Hey mecha does the stand come with the model kit???
Yes, all SRW kits come with the same stand
Huckebein more like I'm your huckleberry
This is no Gundam boy, no Gundam!
could you do a list for model kits with the most extra parts?
It doesn't need the stand to hold the big cannon
Holding out and hoping the mk iii gets released with the boxer frame.
Would doubt honestly, regular Huckebein is like the RX-78 series of Huckebeins that it is not likely that it will be P-Bandai
I kinda doubt bandai will make a Huckebein MK1, I wish they make one tho.
And before that, they need to milk the MK2 mold, like Trombe color and possibly mass production MK2 based on the segmented runners design
G-Impact Cannon (Gインパクト・キャノン)
Short for Gravity Impact Cannon (not Gundam Impact Cannon).
I mean I couldn't feel at ease hearing you pronounce it as hyuck-bine 😅
Also SRW prefers these original mechs to be known as personal troopers but Huckebein resembles quite close to a GUNDAM indeed, yet it is not one but exists in a game with Gundams, super robots like Mazinger, Arms Slaves like Arbalest and so on.
It kind of sucks that I'll need to track down an Alteisen Nacht HG kit to give this thing the Shishio Blade.
1:56
Waist piece: "Wheeeee"
The Huckebein MK. II looks like the chad RX-178 MK. II Ver. Titans.
I love the big ol' D Cannon.
I would love to get a HG SRW Wild Wurger, Wild Falken and Wildraubtier.
Ah yeah, Ze MC Mech from SRW, wish there is HG Huckebein 30th
Weltall with id-system
I'll probably paint mine to have a more Gundam like color scheme. Painting the blue parts white and and the white parts red. Also the V fin connector red.
have you seen the third party metal build of this?
No. That thing is a Gundam.
Hey any chance you will review the SMP Super Robot Wars OG R-1 & R-GUN by Bandai?
I remember the first time I got to see the G-Impact Cannon back when I played SRWOG2 on the GBA. I couldn't stop laughing and at that moment, I knew that I was gonna be an SRWOG fan for life. So glad Bandai is making kits for this series these days. Kotobukiya is still there, but Bandai kits are a lot more accessible in my experience.
Looks like a mix between moon gundam, sazabi, zeta gundam, exia, and eclipse
I want the action base as standard for SRW HGs. That adds to the price but it is a good thing.
It is standard for the line actually
Ok, but what about compatibility with other HG lines? It’s been a known fact that the HG Witch from Mercury kits do not follow the same design conventions as HG kits from other lines.
I seen it being compatible with other HG backpacks
amazing review my man!
Have you made the HMM Kotobokiya Zoids Reddar? Because I have and it’s a fantastic model.
It's actually more compatible with most gunpla than the WfM line is.
this thing looks like mk ii titans/ nu gundam, and gullinbursti combined (now i want to get that and plop the backpack on to my kestrel)
THIS IS NO GUNDAM BOY, NO GUNDAM!
Love the intro😮
Dude, ¿who you did lose the manual?
That sounds odd 😧
By the way, those chakrams are called "Leap Slashers."
That only applied to the first Huckebein
looks like the Siesquiede
I’m a sucker for anything in Titans colors 🥰
Wasted opportunity in not naming it the MD Impact Cannon - the Magnum Dong Impact Cannon
9:33 MY SUPER LASER PISS
this should have been a MG. or an RE100 at the very least.
The smartest thing SRW did was switch from koyoBUNKia to bandai manufacturing their builds.
Also LOL seed SFX
2 eyes, vfin and it's not a gundam?
just getting the hg chu chu's demitrainer after starting gunpla a month ago
back then I thought that's an upgrade version of the mk-II gundam
From what I remember, this is a P-bandai kit, so that explains a bit about the price
I found this kit in a department store where I live which is quite the oddity for a supposed P-Bandai kit
It was not just one box either, there were 3
None of the SRW kits are P-Bandai besides recolors, it is just that SRW kits are always expensive to begin with
It's kit from an IP that already established without Bamco's involvement, unlike Gundam franchise that already owned by Banmco and Sunrise. You'll see Bandai's kit from IP other than Gundam tend to have "higher" price than gunpla i.e Star Wars. Also this kit is retail not P-Bandai.
Trombe P Bandai exclusive when?
edit: this aged well.
Review the rg freedom gcp
Huckebein got that big energy in it 💀
