Kai is awesome, I love his voice. back in the 90s, He could sing as impressively high. look for Gamma ray's performance of Ride the Sky inn Japan 1990. His singing then was more impressive than the album.

The finale was all 3 bands up on stage for this song, so stop knocking those birds for being up there and in the way. Massively powerful. Great band not widely known outside of Germany, at least not here in New Zealand anyway.

Dude, from a singer`s point of view, and pure technically - Kiske is just fucking unmatchable and wipes the floor with ANY other singer, since this song was written to match exactly HIS voice, like a custom made suit was tailored for a specific person.Kiske`s famous scream and strong vibratto do an amazing job hiding his falsetto - Kai and Ralf sound quite thin, compared to his voice, and their screams are also significally shorter.You are free to think anything, but can`t speak what is known.

Dude..iam 23,and ive been listening to Helloween since i was 6 years old. (I had people in my life to place me upon the right path since i was young.)
Its one of my fav bands,and Kiske will always be one of the best singers for me.
Nowadays everything is great in the studio,but when it comes to lives u must accept the fact the age is catching up with him,he abuses the vibrato ,which sounds like he's dying,he cant hit the highs anymore..,exc :)

I don't think so. Ralf left Gamma Ray in a friendly way, and both Kai and Ralf are still friends today. The proof for that is that Ralf took a part in the "Exciter" cover that Gamma Ray in 2001. The reason Ralf left Gamma Ray, besides audiotining for Judas Priest, was that he lived too far away from the other band members.

Man, let's be realistic... Both Kiske and Kai are great... but Kai's voice is gone nowadays... because of the cigarettes. Kiske takes a lot of care of his voice, because of that he still is amazing.
I SAW HIM live twice, and everytime I go to see him live I realize he improved. You're talking about age, but you forget that Kai is older than him, and has less technique and is careless with his voice!
But still is better with Kiske, because it was recorder originally with his voice.

Kai doesn't even have much breath anymore and doesn't reach the high notes anymore... and his vibrato is almost gone.

Sandra Napolitano have to disagree kai's version on skeletons in the closet and the awesome foursome sound better than kiske back during the keepers era but these days I think kiske sings better than kai has been sounding and I think overall he is a much better singer now because he sounds more into it and has more feeling than he did back then and also I think micheal kindle sounds better than Frank beck who to me certainly does not have that unique voice that kai once had or Ralph had

Eu amo o trabalho dele mas tenho que admitir, nenhum dos Keepers foi feito para o Deris cantar, não adianta qualquer música da Era Kiske não cai bem na voz dele, salvo Eagle Fly Free (na minha opinião).
