Wtf, three good songs? Besides, the clean vocals in accross the dark aren't very prominent anyway, unless you're actually concentrating on them, the sound just blends in to the musical greatness that is Insomnium =D
@Roffe192 What are you talking about they have similar vocals. And besides the vocals aren't the most important part of Noumena's or Insomnium's music.
@Neltheros that's the problem though. Not many melo death vocalists are good at clean vocals. & the growl is part of the genre, otherwise it's not dissimilar to power metal.
@mexicanviking1 Just an associates going for my bachelors, but I know a few doctorates...but yeah I know what you’re saying. In my case, listening to metal and finding new bands to listen to has become a hobby. I think several people feel like they are studying metal. If only you could study metal for a living.
@blackbirdmst Amorphis, sure, they had pretty brutal sing voice in the first albums but later on, amorphis completely changed... to worse in my opinion :/ theres no such thing as Black Winter Day anymore, which is very very sad thing :(

Yup. Clean vocals ruin melo death. Which is why Insomniu's new album has about three good songs. They can't sing, nor does it fit in.
