Marmot Tungsten 1p Tent Review

In this video I review the Marmot Tungsten 1p Tent. I have used this tent exclusively since its purchase back in February/March. It has been out on all my adventures and I think it is great!

If this is your first time joining me, welcome to Aeetos Outdoors! This channel was born during the Corona Virus and was a reason for me to leave the house, get outdoors and explore. The focus of the channel is backpacking, camping, hiking, bushcraft, gear, and whatever else I get up to. Many people complain about the UL version of this tent over the years and that it breaks down quickly. But this version is solid and I have used my tent many times over several years

Thanks for the good review. I just got one of these because I already have a Marmot EOS 1 tent that I've had for many years. I have been really impressed with the quality and its ability to handle heavy rain.. However, it is a bit small and can get claustrophobic so I got the Tungsten 1 UL which is a decent size. I haven't used it yet but after setting it up and inspecting it, the quality seems just as good as the EOS.

Not an ultralight, for sure. However, if you are in this tent in a rainstorm, and it's properly set up and staked down, you will be dry. It stands up well in windy conditions, too.

That pocket that you say you put your headlamp in on the two person that's designed to use the headlamp like a lantern if it's the same you might want to try that so you have more light at night
