It was just that PC look vs arcade hardware look because Viper just ran with 3DFX chips. So it didn’t really have that “arcade” vibe visually

I am literally begging you to please help me play this. I used to play this game every time i went to the arcades at disney. My family bought the very cabinet that used to operate at one of the hotels. I remember the smell of the arcade, the loud "DAYTONNAAA" songs echoing from the 8 player race section. I could hear this game's sirens over all the noise. THIS was my game. Unfortunately, we could not afford to fix it and had to sell it. For years I remember staring at it, just wishing to play it once again. I am probably the only Code One Dispatch superfan in the world, but here i am lol. Youd make a grown kid feel like a kid again if you could help me play this on my pc. None of my emulators work with the ROMS online. They dont seem complete. I know your video description says you can't play it at home for now, I'm just hoping if you have any updates.
    Thank you.

@@VideoGameEsoterica Yup, it got weirder than usual: *_Snatcher_* is a cyberpunk graphic adventure game developed and published by Konami. It was written and designed by Hideo Kojima and first released in 1988 for the PC-8801 and MSX2 in Japan. It has been retrospectively acclaimed as both one of the best adventure and cyberpunk games of all time, and identified as a foundation for the themes Kojima explored later in the *_Metal Gear_* series.

How Konami can Thrive ONLY! They NEED to fall to their knees and BEG Kojima to come back WITH FULL creative control and give him 3 games. His personal Opus's. This is the ONLY way to resurrect their profit margins and Global reputation. One of these should be the conpletion of PT. There is an obvious hunger. They should Also offer Ueda and Kaido the same Honour. The alternative to such a HUGE gamble is simple. Konami WILL go under in five years at the most. TRUST ME. 😈 Call it our sit back and see i was RIGHT. And they should give all three Artists the finest teams they can choose. But... Yeah. Boardrooms right? Our art is dying.

@@VideoGameEsotericaWhich begs me, and maybe anyone else, to a question...: *What's the reason or what are the reasons for a lot of hate towards Konami?* There's a number of reasons but please be aware that this is an intuitively assembled theory of mine and take it as a mustard grain with tweezers.
      *LONG TEXT ALERT*
1.- Japan's work culture is one of complete obedience towards superiors that if males don't break their backs working, end up as a complete disgrace for themselves and everyone around.
1.5.- Japan's Idol culture and industry take advantage of women's silence as their model of purity and innocence, with severe consequences for those stepping the line.
2.- Pachinko serves as an accessible outlet of entertainment since it's rumoured most of Japanese people can't afford to buy a game console.
3.- Said work culture is so harmful that doesn't allow males to pursue a social life and form a marriage and without marriage they can't be able to have children, leading to a stagnated grow.
4.- Konami, as well as other Japanese studios and companies, has something called "Galápagos Syndrome"; phenomenon which something easily marketable worldwide has a development insulated from elsewhere.
4.5.- Likewise, said phenomenon also describes that just because something is successful in the world does not mean that it will be successful in the land of the rising sun and vice versa.
5.- In spite of the problem, Japan's population of 125,1 mll. still represents a consumer base strong enough not to cater towards other markets. _(The population of the Koreas, united, is barely past half of that and yet it's not even that close, at 77,7 mll.)_
6.- The "brand recognition" factor the videogame IPs have generated gives Konami enough guidance to obtain the maximum benefits with the least effort and with this it turns its back on its audience, alienating it in the process.
7.- The disappointment is such that little by little faith has been crumbling towards Konami that their global fans are so rotten that they no longer want to know anything, but they return from time to time to find out their current status, if the company dies or how low it can fall for prostituting the most loved and recognized franchises worldwide.
I feel like the best bet for those heartbroken is that they would be served better if they decided to pick up and play some of the coolest indie games inspired on Castlevania, fangames, create their own or just try something new to make worth the wait. Supporting these kinds of contents (like you and this video) and|or sharing them with someone you know (like small game developer studios or independent creators) will give you, and the rest, better chances of getting more games on the style of "Mega Man", "Driver" or even "Code One Dispatch"... even if those ain't made by Ubisoft, Capcom and Konami themselves.
