I just wanted to thank you for always saying the amount of product in fl. oz. and in ml even though you might not use one of those measurements personally. It helps a lot for us non "fl. oz." users!
Wow this is so interesting!! Makes me appreciate drugstore prices even more! Also interesting about the healthy foundation. What a difference! I used mine for a solid month and barely made a dent.
I love Tash’s series. I am so excited to see you do a video inspired by it too! I can’t wait for more in the future. Also, your eyeshadow look is everything!! I love it
For my project pan this year I have been keeping track of the number of uses and oh my god! It is quite shocking how long it takes to use up products. This was very interesting! Thanks for sharing.
I don’t know how you used up the healthy foundation so quickly! I worked on mine last year and used it about 50 times and I feel like I still have so much left, like at least 1/4 of the bottle. Maybe I just use a ridiculously small amount of product when I put foundation on? Lol. Edit: oh just thought of it. I remember you saying in 2019 you liked applying it with your fingers, this year were you using a sponge? Maybe that would affect the amount you have to use each time since some would be soaked up by the sponge???
Ya i panned it too but it took like over a yr even tho i used it almost exclusively i was so confused. And i also used a sponge to apply foundations r mysterious
I think you're on to something! Don't know if this is analogous, but I find that applying cream blush with a sponge helped me finish the cream blush faster than using my hands. Wouldn't be surprised if it worked the same with foundation :0
This provides such interesting insight into makeup consumption. For the last year or so I’ve really been enjoying digging into the products I already own (for the most part) and it’s really eye-opening to realize how long things take to use. After eyeshadow palettes, foundation is one of my favorite steps. At one point I had definitely over purchased them “to try”. Based on these estimates and my own personal use of makeup, I can probably easily go to years without ever buying another base product 😅 This also really drives home the point to always buy things on sale!
Very insightful video! I have gone through one Healthy Foundation and am working on my 2nd bottle. I did not take the stopper out of the first one but when I wasn't getting any more out I figured it was pretty much used up. I will try and remove the stopper for the 2nd bottle but have a ways to go. This was helpful to me as it showed me how long it can take to use up things and that for me it's better to have less. My collection is not big, more on the small side but even I probably have more than I need. I like to be able to use things and this will prompt me to be more mindful of what I am buying and how much I have at a given time.
I watch youtubers pump 3 pumps of foundation onto the back of their hand. I just use 1 pump and use my fingers. A foundation takes me about 6 months to use up if it is a 1 ounce. Someone else might take 3 months since they use more.
I know it would be time-consuming but it would be fun to see how much a full face would cost according to these estimates
I'd love to see the numbers on blush and bronzer.. the mystery that is the healthy foundation 😂

I’m glad to know it’s helpful!! I’ll definitely keep doing it!
I love Tash’s channel! This is such an interesting series & I’m glad you started doing it too! ❤️

I know, so strange!! I can’t believe how fast I’ve flown through it this year when I remember it taking forever a couple years ago!
So interesting to think of the cost per use! I’ve been really noticing cost per use since I’ve been doing a project pan!
I love Tash’s series. I am so excited to see you do a video inspired by it too! I can’t wait for more in the future. Also, your eyeshadow look is everything!! I love it
Thank you Emily!!
Now that you did this math, you would be able to put a usage price on a full face of makeup.
This is actually really cool to see
PLEASE make this a series like Tasha, I enjoy her series and know I would enjoy yours 💕☺️
I definitely want to continue doing them!!

Am watching before work - really glad you have adopted this idea, I really enjoy Tash’s videos.
This was really interesting to see - awesome project. Would love to see how long it takes to use up an eyeshadow or blush
My mathy, number-loving brain is appreciating this very much 🔢📉💰

love the vid! so informative 😍😍😍
Love this yellow orange makeup look
Thank you!!
Thanks for the motivation I really need to use my makeup more 🙂
For comparisons sake it'd be interesting if you added cost/ml :)
ooh good idea! :)
I tend to follow the rule of thumb that it takes abt 3 mos to use up a product if used consistently.
very helpful video. i was definitely so lost as how project paners were able to go through products and i can’t see any difference in my makeup. lol.
haha it really takes a LOT of uses to go through most things!!
Did you do something different with your brows? They look darker and more bold for some reason. Love the look on you.
Hmm not intentionally at least! 😅 haha but thank you!
Thank you for sharing
I love these types of videos

Interesting video thx
Great video! (But 7 ads is a bit much)
Weird, I definitely didn’t put that many ads in! Sorry!
I have seen others have that sort of bug too, where a bunch sneaked in. Just trying to not use ad blocker too much :)
