Very nice track. I'd say it's the best I've seen on youtube! I prefer these minimalist tracks as opposed to overly busy ones with multiple accessories and dioramas...they just end up looking crowded and messy! Great racing fun, wish I had a neighbor like you lol

Hey there. Love the track. I would like to build mine the same way. Could you tell me what curves/bends you used please? For example 1/30, 2/30 1/60 etc. Thanks

Can anyone explain the Pit system to me? I understand that you are simulating a 50 lap race. Do you require each car to pit 5 times during a race? I have also seen another track where they have two pit lanes, one for a quick "top up" and another for a "fill up". Are these timed by a controller, or are the drivers on a merit system to stop, count 12 (or 10 etc), then they may take off, as pit stop strategies can be useful. If they are timed, does it also know when drivers have not pitted for some time, and they "run out of fuel"? I love the scoring system as well. So, I see (by another comment) that it's a Carrera setup. Can anyone tell me a bit more about the system?

So you pick your fuel tank size and that determines how many laps you have to fuel up. You can pit as many times as you want or you can limit racers to limit amount of pits. But if you run out of fuel the system will slow your car down and your laps won’t count till you refuel.

This was great! Ok, I come from an 1970's AFX HO scale world, and have a few questions! 1. The cars are running independently on the same lanes, but at different speeds??? I'm guessing the track is electrified the same regardless of the controller but and the speed comes somehow from the controllers straight to the cars? 2. How do you monitor the pit stops for time, or are they all timed the same? 3. What is the name brand of this track? Thanks!!!

      1. The track is digital, meaning the track receives the maximum amount of voltage available the whole time, and the controller determines how much of that voltage is used by the car.
      2. Not sure exactly how these guys do it but normally you pit to fill up your virtual fuel tank. Once its full you leave. A pretty cool feature, you can change the 'size' of the fuel tank too meaning you have to pit more or less often. Its also possible to 'run out' of fuel meaning your car will go a lot slower until you pit.
      3. The brand is Carrera Digital 132.

How have you guys gotten your group together. I am building my group. When do you meet? How many people show up? How do you communicate? Also, what have you found are the best ways to manage the race? Do you run championships? Do you control speed and braking in the app? How do you habdle wrecks, penalties, etc? Thank you so much!
