@@nickb8791 Hey Nick. I got the attached pic you sent but I couldnt access the other pics. Beautiful braided tile!! Great texture and so creative. Love it.
Ann, where do you find the texture ribbed mat at? I always love how inspirational and informative you are. I have yet to come up with ideas on my own, I have to be inspired by the works of others to try to make things. Thank you for being willing to share.
@@tamb7945 Im sorry about that Tamb. Try putting in Corregated "Fine Rib" Rubber Runner Mat. See if that helps. I actually ordered mine through Home Depot and picked it up at the store. ...oh and as far as coming up with ideas, it is like anything else....with so much history before us and so many other people out there working on ideas, are there really many "new" ideas out there. I am always looking at what people are making out there and finding inspiration for projects. The whole channel is based on experimenting with those ideas to showing people that you can put your own spin on projects to further your own pottery journey. :-)
Hi Kip. I got mine through Diamond Core Tools. check out the other carving tools they have. They are expensive but if you carve a lot they are worth it.
Thank you, captivating video. Could I use same process to make jewellery holder? Bisque then under glaze? Would I need to use under glaze or glaze? Would it have a shiny colour? Can I use acrylic paint on earthernware clay after bisque?
Yes. The order I use is: Leather Hard, Paint with Underglaze, Bisque, Apply Amaco C-11 (The "shiny" glaze), Glaze fire. (Other specs in description) I think acrylic paint would fire out in the high fire so i cannot recommend that. Thanks.
Creative as airways. I find the umbrella bowl and the leaf bowl elegant and most appealing!
Ha! I love the umbrella ring holder! Soooo stinkin cute ☺️ Thanks Ann 😊
Haha, thanks Candy! Im always looking for ideas to get you guys thinking. I bet you could make more creative ideas 🙂

that is so nice of you. go for it...and no need for crediting.
Cute ideas!
Thanks nick!! I appreciate that! If people dont have access to a wheel and a kiln, you can always make these with air dry clay too.
@@annruel1982 hey anytime! Polymer clay would work too!
Do you have an email address or Facebook? I'll send you "some" of my work!

What type of clay do you use? Mine looks gray
Hi Adrian! I use Standard brand #365 English Porcelain. It works the best for the kind of work I do. but it is finicky.

তোমাকে অনেক ধন্যবাদ.
beautiful work! what weight of clay do you use for the first piece, the standard ring holder dish? thanks so much in advance :)
Hi Bren. I just measured out a pound. That gave me enough to pull the stem plus trim a foot at the bottom. Thank YOU for watching. Give it a try 🙂
@annruel1982 thank you so much, appreciate your reply very much
