  • I recently upgraded the suspension on my 2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited LJ with some ARB Old Man EMU springs, Clayton Offroad adjustable control arms, and Bilstein shocks. I've been eager to get Jeep LJ off road on some tough trails just to see what it can do now! So when my buddy Ron hit me up for some last minute tail-gunning for the Jeep Enthusiasts of Eastern PA Fall Ride at AOAA... I had to take him up on the offer.
We had an awesome day, Ron picked some great trails for our decently built group. We had an XJ, A few JK and JL unlimiteds, and even a few TJ's! Some notable trails were Upper Anthracite, BA extension, and Whiskey Ridge. What a great day!
I mentioned my 2019 Spring Ride video, if you'd like to check that out, its here:

Great news that you were able to flex it out, you were flexing well at the JJUSA as well.

Yea! Jjusa was more or less a test run. This really gave it a work out.

You should get a steering box’s skid ASAP with all those rocks lol

Funnily enough, with all of the rocky trails ive been on with the various jeep's ive offroaded, ive never had a steering box contact anything, ever. That being said, its definitely on my list of things to get protected. Diffs are next.
