    In Vermont we have class for roads and in Maine we have county roads even western Massachusetts has what they called “discontinued roads“ people don’t realize but New England actually has more wheeling spots then probably anywhere outside of the West Coast. If you know way to work you can wheel from one end of Connecticut all the way to the Vermont border through Massachusetts only touching pavement for about 20% of the entire length of the state. In New Hampshire you can go from the border of Canada all the way down to the border at Massachusetts at the ocean And only catch pavement auto 500 miles about 120 of them.

      Yea. Seems like a great place if you have a street able wheeler. A little jealous from down here in pa!

      The tougher trail was devils pass. Kyle showed me how to get there so I couldn’t help you there. It was fun though.

    Wow that looked like a fun time. My vehicle wouldnt make it but those Jeeps looked right in their element. My next vehicle will !!

      The Jeep wrangler is a great vehicle, but might not be for everyone. If you like what you see here, then you're probably the right kind of person. ;) I have lots of other jeep content on the channel! Be sure to subscribe if you haven't!

      @@SWBCrawler well I got my next vehicle... do you remember what town this is in ? I'd like to see how it does , and this trail looks wide enough not to get scratched up with branches !

    Happy Anniversary to you and your wife! Good stuff there. Love seeing youtuber's collaborations. Y'all need to come down to NC and we'll hit up Uwharrie.👍🏻🤘🏻

      We did uwharrie like..... 20 years ago in my old YJ. Man what a trip that was. Before I do another long trip like this, im getting a tow rig. I didn't talk about it in depth in the video, but the whole trip was plagued with little issues in the LJ that you just dont get when you're driving it short distances. Mostly a rough idle problem ive had for a long time, and two intermittent sensor problems ive had for a long time, and have never gotten to the root cause of. A tow rig, and a trailer would have made all of that a non-issue. Thanks for the invite! and thanks for watching!

      @@SWBCrawler Rough idle....think it might be heat soak? We had that issue on our TJ. Simple fix. I get the tow rig logic. I wanna do Rousch and Windrock and places like that, but I'm apprehensive about breaking and being stuck, so I completely understand. If you ever do get down this way, hmu!!

      @SWBCrawler  4 года назад +1

      @@ShockWaveOffroad what did you do for the heat soak that was simple? I do believe I've had heat soak on the trail, bit I'm not sure this is the same. I'd certainly try a simple fix though. I've been thinking hood louvers or vented fenders.

      @@SWBCrawler You just wrap a piece of insulation around the injectors. There's a TSB out and you can get the Mopar "fix" from the dealer for around $11. But, any type of insulation would work. #3 and #5 were the worst on ours, but I just did all of them. No more heat soak issues. Shoulda done your catalytic converter too when you did rear main, LOL. Had it all off anyway. From (MY) experience with the 4.0, rough idle is almost always heat soak, bad cat, or bad O² sensor.

      @@ShockWaveOffroad I'm very tempted to dump some savings on exhaust and o2 sensors. Just replace them all. And the whole exhaust from the y pipe on back.

    Hello Nate - do you recall if there’s a alternative way to get pass the rocky parts like the devil pass? Thanks

    • @SWBCrawler
      @SWBCrawler  2 года назад +1

      There were many paths up the trail. At the top I ended up taking the easy route though, so if that looked like too much I don’t think there are lower options.

      For perspective. My LJ is on 33s with a 2”spacer lift and some saggy JK springs in this video.

      @@jackchan1013 sounds like that would be a bit of a challenge! From what I understand there are lots of other dirt roads to explore that are in better condition. I’m not sure how you’d find them though.

      Typically on most trails in the northeast, people frown upon taking or making bypasses because it tends to widen the old roads and erodes the land on the sides causing issues
