Michael Buble The Invitation is a pretty fragrance. The longevity is good, very feminine and airy. 🥰💜😘

I found the KKW Rare Fig at my TJmaxx and snatched it right up!! I love fig in fragrances! Not only is the packaging and presentation of the perfume gorgeous, but that bottle is sooo pretty! Did you know it doubles as a bud vase? I think it looks like a tiny oil diffuser. The scent is very pretty! The fig is there, but not the most prominent note. It is a fresh, green scent with a little woodiness and a touch of floral. There is also something almost aquatic to it.
I have been finding some great perfumes lately at TJmaxx and Marshall’s! I was there 2 days ago and they had Commodity Nectar, 2 Manceras Aoud Vanille and one other that I can’t remember. I didn’t buy them, although I was tempted by the Auoud Vanille, but I couldn’t for $99! I’ll either get a sample first or look in Mercari.
I did buy Givenchy Organza recently though which I find beautifully vintage and somehow nostalgic!

It is amazing how you always mention fragrances I have never heard of/never see anywhere else! Also jealous of those American stores that sell perfume so cheaply (especially because even opened, you can return it! Crazy in the eyes of the rest of the world ).
NB. I do wish people would stop with labels like "mature" when talking about perfume. This label in particular is often used - SO much on Fragantica - and always as an insult, which is ridiculous to begin with. Just because you consider yourself not old enough ( Or mature? Kind of a difference imho ) doesn't mean it is a bad perfume. Not to mention that one 18 or 20-year old ( OR 30- 40-50-year-old ) isn't the other. I loved Tresor, Vanderbilt and J'adore in my late teens while my classmates were mostly into sweet bubblegum stuff from Escada, or " Laundry detergent " freshies. So, it says absolutely nothing. I still don't know what you meant by it, especially because you did seem to like it. Does it mean it is heavy? Powdery? Rosy? Strong on a certain accent or " too many " accents like plenty vintage fragrances? Or does it smell like elderly people in a home? I've no idea. And this is why I dislike these kind of " descriptive" adjectives. They're potentially more (slightly) hurtful than useful. As one of my few favourite Fragrance Tubers I hope you'll retire this one!
Miss Sunny ..I had to smile at your "mature" reaction, I suppose because I AM mature (over 65😁), and I too don't like 'older lady' scents. That would be to me, a stiff, very strong one with alot of alcohol in the mix, like an old bottle of Chanel ..ugh. I always think of old mink stoles and corsages 😂
I won’t retire it. It’s an important descriptor that helps people to understand how certain fragrances may be perceived. There are many people out there who don’t like a mature smelling fragrance and don’t want to wear them. I’m sorry that it is an offensive term to you. If you like mature fragrances, that’s great. I like some of them too. It wouldn’t be fair to the 17k+ other people who follow me to stop letting them know of something smells mature so that they can stay away from it. Another term would be dated. That may offend you too but again, there are 17k + other people here who find it helpful.
hello I understand your comment but mature is not really a bad word, example from my side, I was in a store the other day and someone walked in and her smell was so delicious and very different from what I normally smell everywhere, and I didn't see what kind of person it was at first, I thought it smells like a person who smells fancy and is a bit older. and it was also true, I estimate this woman in her 70+. I'll tell you one thing if I were her age that's exactly how I want to smell and look. And something funny, an older woman of 78 commented on my smell, she said you smell like candy, and then she said I don't want to smell like the younger ones these days, everyone smells the same, but I want to make a statement, that people remembers for my unpopular smell. so older people sometimes don't like younger scents either!🤣
My town just opened a Burlington- I went about a month ago and they had a ton of perfumes-came out with a nice little 6 bottle haul. Now I want to go again and mine their perfume wall for more!

It's amazing what you can find at Ross & TJ Maxx sometimes! I've found Guerlain really discounted there, and even white gold at silver prices in the jewelry 🤗
(Thanks for mentioning the crackling cellophane also Sarah... it's a personal bug of mine, especially rattling chip bags etc...drives me nuts lol!)

Sarah you *must* try Zadig & Voltaire "Girls Can Do Anything" line!! OMG they are all three incredible!! I blind bought Girls Can Say Anything and Girls Can Do Anything at marshall's. I love them so much that I then purchased Girls Can Be Crazy off fragrance net, so far my personal favorite has this delicious Cola note. Ugh u gotta try💖
The stuff you can find at TJ Max or Marshalls is incredible! 😄 Burlington, too! I can't even believe some of the gems I find...Vera Wang Look, See by Chloe, Intimately Beckham, Barneys Route du The, Lancôme Tropiques. I even found Versace Vanitas with a body lotion for $24!!

Michael Buble Invitation is a great one esp for the price. My husband does not appreciate it like me. My scent today is Sandal Ruby from Carolina Herrera!

I really enjoyed how excited you were in this one, it is so joyous! Ps I’m absolutely sure you will adore the other two stash perfumes too (I’m so obsessed that I have backups)! Prive has a clean body lotion vibe when it dries down so it might be similar to Burberry Brit Rhythm, in that it’s comforting to wear xx
I picked up that same SJP Stash Prive' when I was Christmas shopping & returned it the next day. That one I did not care for. I think it was the Quince that didn't work. For Yes I Am Delicious, the price was even lower on just the single bottles! I was trying to be good while Christmas shopping but my cart automatically turns towards the fragrance section and I have to look!

You always have such good perfumes at your TJMaxx and Ross! I bought the KK Rare Fig on her deep clearance and wanted to try the Iris version but it was sold out. I think the Rare fig is very figgy, but I also read the reviews that said otherwise. I only own this one fig perfume and it smells very much like the crushed green fig leaves and stems. I think it's a nice one but I am not the biggest fan of fig to begin with so I didn't wear it but a few times so far. It's too bad yours leaked. I would take that one back and get an exchange, then see if they have a fig too, lol. oxJulia

i'm gonna tease your husband a little bit on the not liking "mature" perfumes.... one day *you* are going to be mature and he'd better still like you! LOL. Just razzing him. I'm a "seasoned" lady of 66 so I can do that. 😝He's a handsome dude, your guy. At least he's involved a bit in fragrance. Mine never notices mine or if he does, he never says anything. I take that back...one time he noticed when I had sprayed Club de Nuit Intense and was sitting across the room from him. He said, " What IS that smell?" not in a good way, LOL. I think it was the saffron, not a scent he's used to at all. The Yes I Am Delicious sounds right up my alley! Wow, the notes make my mouth water. ~Cynthia
