What??? Known for his loud exuberant commentaries??? Absolute NONSENSE!!! He is the most boring football commentator ever. He talks in a whisper most of the game and waffles on about things unrelated to the game being played, not that I can hear him. Gone are the real great commentators like John Motson, Barry Davies, Brian Moore, Ken Wolstenholme, David Coleman. They made the game exciting especially when play was nearing the penalty area. The ONLY time Pearce wakes up is when a goal is nearly scored. Then he reverts to whispering about things other than the action on screen. His whisper occasionally becomes a whisper within a whisper. BRING BACK THE 1970s and 1980s commentary styles.
