- British Airways flight 84, taking off from Vancouver (YVR). Gorgeous sunset!! Sorry for the poor sound, there was a Beech 1900 doing engine run ups just as this bird lined up with the runway :(
Enjoy!!

And here folks is a turbo prop powered a380. Rare breed.
lol
Clean beutiful night
Oh wow! What stunning filming. That is extraordinarily beautiful. One of the very best I have seen!
Kate fromaust agree tho
Beautiful airship lifting off against the spectacular backdrop of the Coastal Range Mountains!
Clean smells good
The 380 is a beautiful plane. But something about those BA colors give it more elegance? Of course those mountains just add majestic Canadian beauty. Only have flown to Vancouver a couple of times and loved it. Your Canucks pulled a fast one on the Panthers. Love from Chicago.
It definitely is quite an elegant scheme isn't it? I would love to see an A380 with BA's old Landor colours. That would be one majestic beast! Happy to hear you like Vancouver! Come back and visit soon! Thank you so much for watching!
Andrew
Got check next years schedule for the Hawks. Cause have too see a Hawk Canuck game. My hubby and I love the food. My first visit was 1970 . Visited when my brother played hockey. Luv the gardens.
Thanks
Ok it's clean smells good beutiful
Beautiful !!
Fine shot of the A380. YVR gotta raze that hangar that blocks the view of liftoff.
They are just so impressive.
Cabin lights on for takeoff? Usually the past few times I've flew with them they have turned them off 🤔🤔
Nice Video BA A380 will be back next summer 2017.
It's clean beautiful smiling good
amazing shot!
I would like to see more A380 in BA .. Beautiful colour.
Always exithing when look this videos
is it just me or is it odd that they had the cabin lights on for take-off?
+Daniel Curle Agreed! Not too often we see the cabin lights on for takeoff! Looked pretty cool though! :)
Where were you standing inside or outside? and were?
I want to see the a380 in person
Why does Vancouver and LA get a an A380 but Toronto and NY get 747 and 777s ???
Is it because the flights are shorter to the east coast and they can cover more frequencies with smaller planes?
Spectrum yes
do u think they should have to operate more a380 at yvr and also yyz too
+Hans Grant (Rp) I definitely wont be mad about that!! LOL
I luv the a380 best airline in the world
Kind bird
Very good job...
+Spott Tter Thank you, and thanks for watching!
nice
Captain Dave piloting?
Why such a big plane for such a small market? I'm in Salt Lake City. We get a lot more air traffic in the area, and yet I've never seen anything as big as the A380.
+JMMT7022801 YVR has quite a bit of traffic to London, especially in the summer. Last year BA was sending two 747's in addition to Air Canada etc. This year, Air Canada operates a 777-300(ER) & 787-9 to LHR, Air Transat & Westjet to LGW, and BA with it's A380. Was just checking SLC, and look like Delta is the only non stop flight to London, once daily.
Because BA likes us more.
+flemingcourt lol :P
Someone forgot to dim the cabin lights !!
very small runway in length for this plane, no room for error on take off
Cabin lights on for takeoff ? Interesting lol . Nice footage though.
+Andrew Bodden Thank you!! Interesting! Don't see that too often!
+Andrew Bodden I immediately noticed that too. Strange.
My mother and father
