Hagrid vs. Mr Darcy and Mr Bennett at the BAFTA awards

Scottish character actor Robbie Coltrane ("Hagrid" in Harry Potter) plays "Fitz" in the acclaimed thriller Cracker.

Robbie Coltrane is very nice and a fine actor but Colin Firth should have won, no doubt - his performance as Mr. Darcy was exquisite.

Wow what a year ian Richardson in the final cut, but also Colin firth and Benjamin whithrow in same category. Those are the parts that have lived on. Robbie coultrane and Robert Lindley I couldn't even tell you what they were in. And Emma Thompson adapted and stared in the film sense and sensibility!

Shocking. Robbie defeated all 3 actors in Martin Chuzzlewit the year before for that same award.
