I have never heard anyone in my 60 plus years ever sing as awesome as this man, God has truly blessed him and this song he wrote is absolutely amazing, I cry every time I hear it and that’s been many many times. Idk I just heard it performed at my church this past weekend and the young lady who sang it had such a power in her voice and she had such a presence it was truly amazing God truly blessed her with not only a great voice but an amazing stage presence she knew how to command an audience

My Wife and I saw him in concert in Ft Worth Tx. 3/26/22, even in his early 50's, he can still hit many high notes and hold them, what a blessing we will never forget. You have to be there for the full experience. Thank you David.

Mr Phelps, I was in charge of a youth group at church (7th & 8th grade) and we made a PowerPoint of pictures of the the youth group, the church, nature, etc. and told the story. We made the congregation cry. People came up and said how beautiful the song was and how touching our presentation was. I can't listen to that song without chills! I came to a realisation upon listening to this song which could be taken one of two ways.
The more positive way for most people reading this comment is: I am an atheist, always have been and most likely always will be, but this song gives me chills, goosebumps and shivers every single time I hear it. That's just how good it is, it still reaches even those who don't believe in God or gods.
The less positive way for most people reading this comment is: it's not the greatness of God that is making you feel the way you feel when you watch this video. It's the composition and the performance of this extremely talented individual and the band around him. The feeling of rising power and love within you when you hear this piece of music is nothing to do with God and is everything to do with the physiological responses within your body at hearing such dramatic, incredibly performed music.
Take it whichever way you want; this piece of music is truly fantastic.

My story begins like this, I see the Lord's hand from the time of my conception in my life, My Mom wanted to abort me, I was saved due to the efforts of a Doctor who is a Catholic Nun, All my chilhood memories are flooded with how I searched for God, I was very much involved in all religious activities but I still did not have the real peace in his heart. I often wondered, “After all these religious ceremonies which I am performing every day, am I in right relationship with God? Is he drawing closer to me? My earliest encounter with Christ was big image of the Sacred Heart, I always felt called by Him, During classes and even at break I used to look at Him, the day His eyes met mine, He never left me, I still was a stauch Hindu, I wanted to overcome my karma by performing devotional rituals, but fear of death and reincarnation had overcome me, the words of Christ to Martha has set me free " I am the Resurrection", I followed Jesus right from I was 11, I was hated by my family and relatives for my faith in Him, but the Lord was gracious enough to take me into His fold when I was 16, I was baptized along with my Mom and maternal Grandmother into the Church. Jesus my Savior, my King my all in all changed my life, there is no meaning to life without Him.

Therefore, their minds are conditioned to question everything this world has to offer including “THY POWER THROUGHOUT THE UNIVERSE DISPLAYED.” They have accepted the heavy burden of dealing with the troubles of this life and seeks to know another way, YOU THE GREAT COMFORTER TO ALL who did receive YOU as their personal SAVIOR. Still, YOU have shown them NEW MERCY every day with each thought they make and each breath they take.
Unfortunately, like the prodigal son, we are all guilty of wandering far from YOU LORD because the negative experiences of our lives tend to build roadblocks to the TRUTH. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST HELP them to identify the way, truth, and eternal life (that is YOU). Since to know and follow your SPIRIT is more exciting than any 007 movie, and YOU DELIGHT MAKING the ordinary into extraordinary. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST MAKE them understand that there is no way around YOUR TRUTH, and that there is something about YOUR NAME. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST HELP them defeat in their minds what is false in YOUR EYES.

If one believes faith cannot be forced, YOU WILL GIVE that individual over to the stubborn heart to follow own counsel which will surely fail him or her to the extent that the punishment will last forever found in Psalms 81 NIV. Given this, I pray that YOU WILL MAKE that person see that this feeling is wasted for a world in which we become strangers as we age, gives us thrills instead of peace, aims to solve a problem but creates another, and unrest surges with each passing generation. Shed some light into their broken hearts for YOU ARE THE GREAT JEHOVAH, THE GOD THAT HEALETH thee.
Lastly, LORD when they call on YOU in earnest prayer to come into their hearts to be born again, I pray that YOU WILL GIVE them the blessed assurance of their salvation because nothing breaks YOUR HEART, or tears YOU apart like when they cry from the trials of the devil who comes to slander, falsely accuse, steal, kill & destroy. Only by drawing nearer to YOU LORD will put them on a path to a glorious one way trip winding upward to YOU where pain is not welcome because the heart will never break anymore. For ONLY YOU UNDERSTANDS our tears since YOU LOOK at the heart, while humans look at the flesh.

Jesus did say, "unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains by itself alone. But if it dies, it bears much fruit" (Jn 12:24). Likewise, He instructed, “If anyone wants to come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross every day and follow me" (Luke 9:23). He was our example, showing us why he called himself "The Way," and why he says to us "Follow me." In Romans, Paul tells it straight, we are "heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, *if indeed we suffer together with him* so that we may also be glorified together with him." (Rom 8:17)
I'm at the end of the first half of my life, and I've also struggled & suffered more than most. But I've learned it's the concealed & hidden path to glory!!
Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you. It's a promise!! Not mine, His!!! 🙌🏼.... Oh, and get plugged into a good faithful community of believers! He very often reveals Himself through the body of Christ, the Church.
