I love TLC. My favorite girl group of all time. They blended together so well. I loved how they didn't take things seriously all the time and knew how to have fun, that's what I like about watching their interviews. My favorite TLC songs are creep, no scrubs, and I'm good at being bad.
Andre was abusive point blank. Her sister says Lisa was hit by him and he lies about it to this day, but her baby sister says she followed the pattern that was modeled when they grew up in that household and I believe her sister. TLC were my destiny’s child, first women I wanted to be as a little girl. RIP Lisa 💜💜💜💜
Yes, I didn’t speak on that in the video because it’s triggering and has been covered so many times on RUclips but that man was TERRRRIBLEEEEE and then made his own “documentary” to try and paint the narrative that he was innocent and never did what he did to her and had the audacity to make it seem as though SHE cheated on him. Disgusting behavior
Thanks for celebrating TLC and respecting Left Eye’s memory where a lot of people would have focused on her addiction, her abusive relationship, and arson charges. It's easy to forget the impact that TLC had on both girl groups in general and pop culture. Yes, there have been girl groups in the present like Fifth Harmony, Little Mix, and every K-pop girl group, but not on the same level as TLC and the Spice Girls. It would be cool if you made a video about why we don't have a lot of Western girl groups(specifically black girl groups) in the modern age since K-pop have taken over the international charts.
S/O to the iconic Julie Mijares for styling TLC…. These looks have REALLY stood the test of time! Every single one was both timeless and trendsetting. 🔥🔥🔥
I loved her work with what she did with their style! During their their first era, it was street but very whimsical and colorful, but Julie made it sexy and polished during the second album, then futuristic with Fanmail, then every other look in between. 🔥
@@marzblaq7267 ABSOLUTELY! She, along with Marie Davis [ TLC’s hair stylist ], definitely played a HUGE role in the group finding its niche aesthetically
The intro is always going to eat! I loved how they sung what they believed in with their chest and didn't back down when they got backlash. they were multitalented their talent spoke for itself and they didn't need to sell s e x with their image in order to sell records. I still hate what Pebbles did to them 🙄

These women broke barriers in the industry and didn't bow down to what industry said they had to look and dress like, there were even rumors that were assuming their s3xu@lity back in the day, as if women can't be tomboys and feminine. I loved how much they stood on what they believed and their music is still timeless and classic. this was an incredible video
Crazy Sexy Cool is still one of my favorite albums.❤ Also My goal is to still have a wrap hairstyle wrapping like Left Eye wrap in the Diggin the Scene video.😩 Left Eye gone but never forgotten.
I remember seeing their first video. I was alone in my room watching BET and this one video (by Vanessa Williams or Pebbles, I can’t remember which one) used to scare the 💩 out of me. For some reason I didn’t get up and leave or change the channel. After that video went off, TLC ‘s I Ain’t Too Proud To Beg came on. I sat up and was mesmerized. I was like “who are these girls?” I’ve been a fan ever since. I was in the second grade then and I’ll be 40 in May this year.
My favorite album is Fanmail, even though it did well it was still underrated and I would've loved to see a video to the song Fanmail, Silly H0 and Automatic those visuals would've been sooo good I just know it lol. like always this video was incredible
From their first album Oooh On The TLC Tip Dat da We Like 'em, Their second album Crazy Sexy Cool Diggin On You and Their third album Fan Mail No Scrubs. Those are my favorite songs by TLC.
Giving iconically iconic her flowers for always feeding the girlies and giving us top notch quality videos💐🌺🌹. Welcome back and I hope you’re feeling better love 🫶🏾💕. Can’t wait to watch this video.

8:29 I don't understand whats wrong with being "feminist rappers". Salt N Peppa could be considered feminist rappers. Nothing wrong with women in music, especially hip hop, talking about female empowerment imo. 🤷♀️

Ppl fail to realize that TLC broke a hell load of barriers and became the biggest selling and most declorated female group in global history. Besides the unprecedented success, they were a movement. They were only meant to be a two second group and never had the right financial, executive, and music push behind them, but they perservered through these obstacles. Additonally they were an all Black female group which caused them to experience a lot of racial and sexist barriers (sad considering that Black women are the foundation of Rock music, Country music and every mainstream genre of music that the world primarily white America has stolen and white washed). They may not be the same without Left Eye nor have the stardom that they once had, but they are still that group. It's sad to see how groups like Spice Girls and Destiny's Child are placed over TLC in today's mainstream Pop culture, when TLC paved the way for both groups. The Spice Girls even talked about how TLC inspired and mentored them and TLC even allowed Destiny Child to be their opening act for the Fanmail Tour in 1999. I only have to say that Spice Girls did have the white media and white ran music industry supporting them because they were marketed as a predominantly white girl group and we unfortunately live in a world where Whiteness is associated with success, mainstream-ism, and so many resources and opportunities where was Black talent I under funded, disrespected and constantly stolen from. It's sad to see that there are no current Black Pop groups in this current generation of music. None at all.
One of the most iconic girl groups of all time! Their stage presence was phenomenal and they were always improving as artist. I love how you keep it positive on here and respect artists legacy instead of the negative things that happened 💕 Also glad you deleted the under hand compliments comments from people who never know how to just say something nice or simply leave and thrive off of negativity
Fun fact: Spice Girls is the #1 best selling girl group and TLC is 2nd. This isn’t my opinion, but based on statistics. I love both groups, but TLC is actually the # 1 best selling in America.
Yes, I am aware however that long of a title goes over the limit of a title and the video is about TLC and how they paved the way for other girl groups who came after them LIKE the Spice Girls , DC , etc.
I just don’t think Crystal really wanted it bad enough. She let one set back make her just say forget it. Lisa came to Atlanta for something totally different but that fell through and she kept going and ended up in TLC. TBoz said from the time she was a kid that she was going to be famous, didn’t let the fact that she has a disease that does not at all go with her career choice stop her. Chilli and Lisa all manifested their dream and worked until they got to the dream. Crystal was still in the same position before she met Lisa and Tboz all she had to do was keep working and find 2 more members to replace T and L just like Tboz and Lefteye had to find their C she could’ve kept going now I can see if she had gotten signed and put out an album then gotten dropped but she was still an unknown talent just like Tboz and Lefteye so I just think that wasn’t meant for her.
