Sailing around the world is a lot of work not the dream life many sailors pretend they have. Nice to see the church service and private family visit! Good luck!
Aww thanks for the thought and message. We have filmed and edited an epic New Zealand season Tsunamis boat yard cyclones coastal sailing food road trips baby and restart uploading Sep 30th!! Plus a mini documentary. Hope things are well for you? For real-time please stay in touch and follow us along on FB: facebook.com/sailingdrivingandeating/
Yes, we are still sailing around the world. Lots of videos are getting edited, and the channel will restart soon. In the meantime, you can follow us along here with real-time updates. We just sailed from NZ to Fiji and on towards Asia in September. facebook.com/sailingdrivingandeating
Hydrochloric acid dissolves calcium! and it has other uses onboard! Hope that wasn’t the same screwdriver you used on the plumbing! Dresses are usually a must at Sunday Church. Better to die Living, that to live to die!? Tonga is on my bucket list! Thanks for sharing and fair winds! 😎🏖🌴☀️🇦🇺
A French guy said to me when talking about safety before we left Tahiti in his massive French accent bla bla bla you go to church before the passage and you go to church after the passage haha. Sorry no idea about the exact type of faith. A nice experience with the local family was Sunday church and lunch after. The Tongans are very big on their Church life.
Soon, trying to sort out some help editing. We have been shooting the adventures still so have a lot of content to update you all with. Thanks for shouting out.
@@catamaranmentor great to hear. Keep up the good work. Me and my family of four have been living on a catamaran in Florida keys for a year and are looking to upgrade to a leopard 48. It's been great to see what you guys are doing.
Hi Kim, we are doing well thanks dispute the normal ups and downs of life and are on the water having finished of the land life and rented out the house etc. A student has started editing for us so all going well we might be able to go to a weekly episode very soon. How is your end of life going?
Yes correct, video land is behind real life. We are going to get an editor next year to speed up videos. I watch Nicki and Jason also and walked past their cat in storage in Tonga. Really feel for them being stuck away from their boat.
@@catamaranmentor I know right? The whole vid was great and done well. The grandmother's shock at the young man so effortlessly crunching up what she was protecting as a valuable necessity... was not only personally relatable, it made me giggle, but also highlights my/our privilege compared to the, just as legitimate, simple and base life others live. Such an sobering reminder for me to count my blessings, embrace patience and kindness toward others to keep my life in perspective and grounded. Once again, well done. :)
She also repeatedly said eat slowly and we will never forget that, and we say it to each other still now. Really glad you enjoyed the video. More coming soon as will sort out some editing help early next year to increase the frequency of episodes and content and help free up my time for camera work and adventures.
Arrg that’s the problem with real time updates that jump the queue of the normal episodes is it can confuse people. You will have to stay tuned to find out as we had lots of drama with the new crew. Will get an editor for next year and speed up the videos. Thanks for watching.
@@catamaranmentor no worries thankyou for getting back. I'm enjoying the uploads, the main thing is your all safe n well.Look forward to seeing your new deck hand aboard lol.
haha no just delayed, we restart next week with cooking at a local house in Tonga a mini-documentary as we sail Tonga to New Zealand and about 15 videos already edited for the NZ season with rugged New Zealand coastal sailing and Cyclones Tsunamis, Fishing, boat yards, packing up the house, Babies road trips and Coco upgrades. We have lived aboard Coco this whole time. See you in the next epis ode.
The voice over audio and audio needs to change...it's so bad that it make your videos unwatchable. Wind blow and just terrible. Your transitions are great and the edits are amazing but 90 percent of the raw audio is unbearable. A sock over the mic would make a huge difference. I enjoyed your videos at the beginning but now
Yes was a bit annoying in this footage for me also. I have the gear to sort this and use it. Just had to realize/experience when and where to pull it out. Keep in mind vlogs are made while navigating a new to us 20ton boat in unfamiliar territory so it’s very busy at times. Stay tuned lots of improvements and adventures coming.

Glad you liked it, my goal is to always try and film something or someone really local to include with the boat life content.
You guys have disappeared, are you OK?

Where did you go? Is the leopar still on the journey?

Is this an old video? I heard Tonga is closed to incoming sailors. Another RUclipsrs cat is there, and they have been unable to get to it.

Peter Rollo very true sir. Glad to see y’all are doing well though.
Thanks, hope you and family are doing well also. Crazy times for pretty much everybody now days. See you in the next episode 😎
