It's incredible how none of them are talking about the major mistakes in this program. Popping quads, shaky landings...sheesh. It's ridiculous that the judges threw Hanyu the LP for this mess, even though Nathan beat him overall. This was Nathan's second victory over Hanyu, who was sure to avoid Nathan in competition after this by dropping out of the rest of the season, only to reappear at the Olympics in Pyeongchang. Hanyu didn't want to risk another loss to Nathan before the Olympics, especially since this was his third straight loss after barely winning the 2017 Worlds by just 2.28 points over Uno. At the 2017 World Team Trophy three weeks after Worlds, Hanyu had a disaster in both programs and lost the men's division to Uno by a big 18 points. Then, at the 2017 Autumn Classic, he had a disaster in the LP by missing six jumps and lost to Fernandez by 11 points. After that, he lost here at Rostelecom 2017 to Nathan Chen for the second time, then withdrew from the rest of the season. He was afraid of being defeated yet again by Nathan, and for good reason. Of the 11 times they met in competition, Nathan won 7 of them, and never lost to Hanyu again after the 2018 Olympics, defeating him by 22 points at 2019 Worlds, 44 points at the 2019 Grand Prix Final, 32 points at 2021 Worlds, and 49 points at the Beijing Olympics where Nathan won gold.
the problem is why you here? iam here because i love yuzu performance, and you are here with a very long comment about how nathan chen beat yuzu blah.... are you sure you like nathan? because i see you comment on a lot video of yuzu ,why you dont go to nathan video and enjoy his performance .sorry i dont like his skating so i dont know you comment on his video or not because i dont watch .but one thing iam sure like the commentor said in this video Yuzu is never BORING .
@@leeharry1565 It's because Hanyu is way over-rated and nowhere near "the greatest", as his fans claim. When you take emotion and personal preference out of the process and look only at his international competitive record, it becomes very clear that other skaters have FAR surpassed Hanyu, who doesn't merit the title of "greatest". In addition to Nathan Chen, Scott Hamilton, Alexi Yagudin, and Evegeny Plushenko all have competitive histories and winning records far above Hanyu, regardless of his two very lucky Olympic gold medals. I'm sharing the information with people because most are unaware of it. If you don't like it, don't read my posts. It's a free world.
@@L1623VP yes,its free word. but you go to a lot of video of yuzu and talk about his 2 LUCKY gold medal because you think he is so overated.you give a lot of evidence about how many competition yuzu win, yuzu lose but who you want to prove he is not that good when you comment in his video? to us FANYUN .we love him so i keep rewatch his performance and keep see you talk blah...blah... about nathan .its so noisy.
