Over the years I've found some equipment that's excellent for one person but not the next-not because anything is wrong with it, just because we're all built different.
Due to shoulder issues, I really need to get one of these 2 stations.

Back barbell squats were my favorite for over 15 years. Now in my 30s I look back on how stupid i was with 500+ pounds on my back. You might feel strong and in control but one slip can fuck up the rest of your life.
Machines are superior.

@@peternagy-im4be Every leg press feels different but overall it is great as long as you can do a full range of motion and complete failure while staying safe

If someone want to avoid loading the back then belt squat (with the right belt, uncomfortable belt can ruin it) and pendulum squats are the go to exercises, too bad that ATX does not have pendulum squat so Sam can't promote one here but those are really good.
