I don't know about other electric scooters like Ather and Ola, but the thing about TVS is that their vehicles seem to reach 92-95% of the claimed range. For that S model claimed range is 100km, I have seen users reporting 95 Kms, while some one even got to 96km. I know it depends on the driver, but that is impressive. So if we go through the same logic, ST offers 145km, we can expect to get 135km. I am waiting for this model, unfortunately booking is closed, I was'nt even aware when it opened in the first place. Hopefully booking opens again, there are lots of people waiting for this, extremely affordable for short/long daily commutes.

Everything is ok. They should change the hub motor to a belt driven or fix like on chetak . Tvs should start charging grids on their showrooms atleast.

TVS iQube now shows change in battery from LFP to NMC: likely that this ?change was made to accomodate larger (nearly a 1/3rd larger compared to S/base, 5.1 vs 3.4) battery? Or worse, all along all models were using NMC as was suspected coz of weight/bulk considerations (previous gen model likely had LFP?)

Even with 5.1kWh battery pack the range is just 140km range which is just 5km more than OLA S1 Pro which has 3.9kWh battery. Such a waste of battery capacity & money. The reason is, iQuebe uses hub motor whereas OLA uses mid mount motor. Hub motors are highly inefficient.

@@manoj.i.j Btw I own both hub motor EV (Ampere Zeal since 2019) and mid mount motor EV (OLA S1 Pro since Feb 2022) so my so called 'ignorance' is based on my personal practical and real experience. Durability is another big issue with Hub motor as they are directly fitted in wheel, they have to bear direct impact of pot holes shock and also road water (rusting). So try driving hub motor on bad roads and water lodged roads see fate of your hub motor. Anyway if you love hub motor EVs so much, then please go ahead and buy. I put this comment so that people will take a informed decision.
Tvs has a very bad service in Bangalore. Im not sure about other places. Tvs should improve in good customer service. I have raised a request for a charger from past 3 months nothing has happened. Guys plz do not buy Tvs icube in 2023 . They are short of spare parts n they do not care about customers waiting.

@@shankarnaik3055 it's not about fire it's all about long term reliability typically nmc battery lasts only 800 cycle and hub motor is not reliable. When load is higher side nmc battery won't last longer. When comes to TVS brand I own apache 160 2013 model their services is pathetic
@@deepakb8754 sorry: as per FAME-2 portal, 1000 cycles only & battery type is left blank!. BMS here is buggy, so even charging/range displayed by DTE & SOC/battery charge % varies widely. Recently random disconnects while connected through TVS app v.2.0.3 even!
