    Considering these blocks can crack...I wouldn't want one in a plane for sure!

      The fact that the R18 is still in production after 14 straight years is a testament to its reliability. It is one of the most prolific engines Honda ever made and has been placed in most of the models Honda makes. Anecdotal problems are just that.

      @@charosenz stock for stock ya...but you boosted yours...and the stock ones don't handle boost for long on the ground. In a car. The rods are little chicken bones. I would of went K Series. There is a reason Honda only put this in the civic and HRV. The k series was used in almost EVERYTHING .

      @@theejoeylee It might serve others well if you could become more knowledgeable of the projects before trolling criticism. This project will be turbo normalized - nothing like the boost that most people use on the street.

      @@theejoeylee the R18 is lighter and more efficient, small planes don't use that much power so this build makes more sense, leave the K Swaps to the street racers and appreciate something different

      @@theejoeylee it's also easy to bolt in some forged rods and pistons into the R18
