Some context on the original singer: They are a Hong Kong rock band named 'Beyond' and was most popular during the 80's and 90's. Unfortunately, in 1993 their lead vocalist, Wong Ka Kui (黃家駒), passed away after accidentally falling off the stage on a Japanese game show, resulting in a coma and eventually led to his death. Despite all these years, Beyond still remains as one the most influential music artists in not only Hong Kong, but also the rest of Asia.
I am so happy that Xiaojun finally got to do a full cover of a Cantonese song and am most proud that he got to share Beyond's legacy with the rest of the world. 💚💖

yes, Mando songs are nice but it hits home we hear Canto, rare in this industry, Jackson sang Jacky Cheung's 一路上有你 but his accent was SO weird, I'm from the U.S & speak better Canto, when he sang 真的愛你 by Beyond, Canto was better, ok vocals, I notice when he sings live, he's very careful, like if he doesn't pay attention his voice will crack any moment, always nervous watching him, Canto song AND XiaoJun's skills as SM's #1 vocalist REALLY tops it all for me (as a musician, I analyze music & vocals, I've heard all the best main vocalists), they need to let him release a S0L0 album
@@bzb_ It's not that rare compare to the other 300 chinese langauges that have no representation at all, Wu chinese is disappearing, I hope Winwin can sing Wenzhounese songs too, there's a rapper of wenzhounese his songs are really good, but he was the only one... and the song has been like maybe 10 to 20 years... I really wish there are more these songs, maybe tv shows, so that more people can learn, Suzhounese songs are so good too, but there isn't much

I wish they would build up their popularity in China again, Chinese in Korea are always put last, their opportunities are so limited compared to Koreans, them being away from from China for years when China is the target market, caused them so much harm
@@arling3001 ❤ 俊俊 for 2 yrs seeing him, the best vocalist in his company treated like another typical “good” SM singer is heart breaking, I work in music production so I pay attention to vocals too, I’ve heard every male main vocals in SM sing, some even from live concerts(NCT127, EXO), I can confirm XiaoJun is the #1 top vocalist in SM, he deserves so much more but what can fans do? Every Chinese idol had sued this company & they were in popular KPOP groups, XiaoJun’s group is less popular and C-POP 😢, after putting everything on hold for 2yrs, unable to actively promote & build their fandom, they are now coming back in competition with newer & younger groups that just started their careers, WayV should’ve been on a higher level of popularity by now but they’re not, half the members are getting older, they’re just wasting time in SM, I hope they sue for mismanagement & regroup in China under a label that is smart enough to prioritize them first & promote them properly, we got best dancer Ten and best vocalist XiaoJun, that’s should already put them at the top
SM, Xiao Dejun is your #1 vocalist, any top main vocalist you can name, Xiaojun can out sing him, give him a SOLO album like he DESERVES, fair treatment for foreign idols!!
